Salt, salt, salt. Everything was so salty. Salad was drenched in dressing. Lobster bisque soup was like dip. Steak was good. The service was good. Avoid any of the salty appetizers.

We ordered the Spanish artichoke dip for starters and a glass of Malbec. The chips were good, the dip was only warm, and the wine OK. We also had bread which was very good! For dinner we had the French onion soup and Alfredo with serlon tips. The soup was salty, but good. I ordered the serlon tips well done and the came out medium rare. See the photo. I should have sent them back but we never saw much of our server so I just pushed them aside. She did come back and noticed it and offered to send them back but at that point it was too late. Three stars could have been four but I’m still upset about the under cooked meat. They should know what well done meat looks like.

Never been a big fan of this place, but tonight takes the cake. Didn’t get food because the restaurant was SO mismanaged on a busy Friday night that they couldn’t accurately give wait times, clear tables, or seat new parties effectively. While waiting by the door, several groups walked past when leaving. More often than not they were commenting about how negative the experience was.

Just had appetizers, sampler and wings were both outstanding. Great service even though they were really busy after the game.

I’ve tried several menu items here and don’t think there is anything special about this place. Do yourself a favor and go down to the haymarket. If you do go to Misty’s I think their best menu items are actually the salads. The service has always been good and it has a nice atmosphere.

I ordered aN iced tea, NY strip steak, medium, a Caesar dinner salad, and a baked potato. The food was excellent the steak was cooked perfectly, as was the potato. The Caesar dinner salad was fresh, crisp, and did not have too much dressing. If it were only the food Misty’s would have received 4.5 stars, but the service brought it down to a 3. The iced tea was ordered without a lemon and showed up with one. Bread & butter came after the salad, and that first iced tea was the only one I received even though the glass was empty when my steak was delivered, but she took off to wait on customers on their patio before I could request another tea.

Had the prime rib very thin slice for a queen cut. I was very disappointed to spend that much money for dinner you would expect to get something decent.

we go here every year for a staff dinner before our event starts. usually i get prime rib, but the last couple of times it has been a little too fatty for me, so i got a filet this year with blue cheese. it was good, but nothing amazing. i can definitely think of a few other restaurants i would pick before this one.

I was sooooo disappointed! My prime rib was so thin I could almost see through it. The service was good and the salad and potato was fine. But a steak house with awful prime rib???

Sorry folks, but if you like this place you obviously do not know good Prime Rib. The Regal cut was like a kids cut, embarrassing. We even asked about the small portion(as it was for my wife) and they said it used to be 16 but now 12 and actually more line 10 oz. we felt robbed. Go elsewhere.

Misty’s was an ok place to go for Steak. I ordered their French onion soup as a side and it had a pretty grainy texture. The price was pretty high for the cut of steak I had. I ordered the filet mignon and it was a bit tougher than I like for the cut. However the bread was delicious. The atmosphere was very nice and had a fancy feel to it.

I’ve been hearing about mistys since I moved here. When some friends came to visit me, this was where everyone recommended. We came in on a Saturday night around six and it wasn’t very busy so we were seated quickly. It did take some time to get our order taken and then even longer for our food despite how empty it was. I was also a little disappointed regarding the gluten free options. Usually a steakhouse has lots of naturally gluten free things to choose from. I guess because of their seasoning, which they aren’t sure is or isn’t, they omit a lot of things. There really weren’t any appetizers so we settled on a salad and split a steak and potato. The server was nice but didn’t seem really aware of what gluten was. Overall the food seemed pretty average, at least for what I ate. Steak was an appropriate temperature, they split it for us on two separate plates and included an extra potato which was very thoughtful. I guess flavor wise I wasn’t wow-ed. My friends who split the prime rib said it was good, but also that it wasn’t something they would go out of their way for. Who knows, maybe we ordered the wrong things! Price was pretty average for a steakhouse and portion sizes were good. Overall I prob won’t be rushing back because I didn’t feel I had a ton of options to choose from and I wasn’t amazed by what I did have. But at the same time, I wouldn’t be opposed to trying it again sometime.

I went here for a rehearsal dinner with family. I ordered a top sirloin medium rare(came out medium well but whatever) and I got the porter. There was LOADS of mushrooms and onions on my steak, which was awesome because I love both, and the food was so delicious. It paired really well with my beer. It’s a dimly lit place with a friendly environment. it’s nice that it’s walking distance(right across the street) from the Embassy Suites where we were staying.

The food here is «OK». Nothing to write home about, and is sufficiently reviewed by other folks here, so I won’t get into that. The main point that I’d like to make is… If you’re going to have a bar in your restaurant, then please actually have a BARTENDER to go with it. I asked for a basic, classic martini and the gal behind the bar was totally lost, and her coworkers were also unable to help. It was a pretty slow afternoon there, customer-wise, so I actually went behind the bar and showed her how to make one. To her credit the second one she made was pretty good, but the owner needs to actually train his staff. Oh and they keep the vermouth out warm where it will go bad which is really gross. It needs to be refrigerated.

Will never go back to a mistys location ever again. Had been to the old main location years ago and then once about 2 yrs ago and it had gone down hill. BUT thought today I would try the new location and even had talked mistys up to a friend which is a sales person like myself and knows good vs bad food. The steak was tough salad had been frozen and the baked potato tasted like a microwave one The bud lit was cold the only good thing

Missy’s came highly recommended by several locals. I was craving a piece of that fantastic Mid-west cow meat. The entire experience was sub-par for a «Steakhouse». It was marginal for a sports bar. No décor, college kids serving, and my signature prime rib was below average. Even my beer was Luke warm. You can get better prime rib at Outback Steakhouse for less $$. If you are a Morton’s or Ruth Chris steak person, you won’t be happy. Nothing was Bad, but I set my expectation for a first class meal, and had an overpriced sports bar dinner. I had one night in Lincoln, bummer I’m sure there are better places.

AVOIDTHISLOCATION, STICKWITHTHEORIGINAL in Havelock. We live across the street from this location, given it 4 chances and cant give anymore. Food ALWAYS served tepid or cold, never fresh and hot as you would expect. Take the extra time and drive to the original location, you’ll be glad you did. The food quality, atmosphere, and service is superb.

Ok so this is my very first review so take that for whatever it’s worth but I’m just visiting here in Nebraska and there isn’t much else to do while I’m at the hotel(waiting for the football game this Saturday woo!). Plus this place does not have very many reviews and I think the rating is too low! Anyways lets move on to the food! The prime rib came out perfectly medium rare. The seasoning on the outside was great! Comparable to lawrys seasoning which i love! It did have a little bit too much fat for my taste but it was easy to just cut away. The mashed potatoes were surprisingly tasty! They made a good decision to leave in some of the skins in the potatoes! All in all I’d say it was a good experience overall! And friendly staff to boot!

Same meeting, still in Lincoln! Came with a large group so they set us up in a private room with a fixed menu. Once again, glad I wasn’t paying with the limited menu, but I had a decent meal. The waiter let me trade out my side salad for the French Onion soup which was a smart decision. I ordered the chicken(even though it was a steak place) and it was pretty good. Better yet were the side of Brussels sprouts that I asked for extra bacon on top. Everything is better with bacon! I don’t know if the beers are any good, since I’m a wino. But they did have some impressive beer making equipment.
