Established in 2013.

After decorating cakes in a commercial bakery for 13 years, I decided to branch out on my own. I am now able to do what I love and work from home!

Jamie from Sugar Cake Company did our wedding cake a little over a year ago and it was absolutely beautiful! I had an idea in mind with some pictures I kind of wanted to mix and match and the end result was exactly what I had in mind, even better! Also the cake was so delicious our guests couldn’t stop talking about it lol! It was such a great experience working with Jamie and Sugar Cakes, I would highly recommend using this comany!!!
P.s.
We had our 1 year Anniversary cake slice and it was just as delicious as when we first had it!

All of Jamie’s cakes look amazing. I worked with Jamie on a custom-​made surprise birthday cake for my wife. Jamie made sure that we had my wife’s favorite cake and filling flavors, and frosting style (not too sweet). My wife loved it — said it was delicious, cake, filling, and frosting.

Jamie is so great! After considering a few cake places for our wedding we decided to go with Jamie due to the excellent customer service she provided us throughout the entire planning. To me, all cakes looked the same all all of the places so it was the customer service that was the deal breaker. I was pretty clueless in what I wanted my cake to look like, not to mention indecisive. ha. I emailed her things I like and ideas I had and she was able to email me back with pictures of cakes with all the pieces or things I envisioned. It took the stress off me and made me feel at ease letting her take the lead. Other places were wanting me to email them pictures of cakes that I wanted to replicate but that was too hard on me as I wanted my own creation, not someone else’s. Jamie made this happen. The cake came out delicious, which I finally got to taste the day after the wedding. Thank you Jamie for being so dedicated!

Holy cow! Jamie did such an amazing job on our complicated ideas for our cake. She went above and beyond and her talent is absolutely amazing. Every single person complimented the cake and as you can see in the pictures, it’s flawless. We had her to half batman half bridal and a bunch of cupcakes, brownies, and cookies. Her pricing was worth it. Not enough for all the work she put into it if you ask me. She was on time and had everything set up perfectly. We would recommend her highly to anyone who is looking for a creative and flawless cake at a good price. Jamie is amazing and she is very sweet! No complaints whatsoever.

Absolutely DELICIOUS cake! Jamie knows how busy a bride and groom can be and is completely accommodating. She responds very quickly to emails and answers all your questions. Provides several examples of her cakes in forms of cupcakes and has amazing classic, elegant and fun designs in her resume to chose from or like us, helped us create a customized design of what we wanted. My husband and I got his family together and there was plenty of cupcake for everyone to taste and decide on what flavor we wanted. We went with the almond poppy seed cake with almond buttercream… absolutely delicious!!! Go with Jamie for a cake your guests will keep asking about!

It was a real pleasure working with Jamie from Sugar Cake Company. She made the whole process so easy, from start to finish. I wanted a special birthday cake for my mom’s party, so I decided to give Sugar Cake Company a try. I’m so glad I did! Since it was a surprise party, I didn’t really know what flavor cake or style to get my mom. So Jamie helped me out so much! She came up with several flavor pairings/​varieties to help me choose. And the final product was delicious!!! I also told her I wanted something nice and pretty instead of the standard grocery store cake. She designed a beautiful cake! The pink ruffles and fondant flower was simply gorgeous! My mother loved the cake, and the guests couldn’t stop talking about how great it tasted! I will be ordering all my special occasion cakes from Jamie from now on! I highly recommend her!

Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved it. It was beautiful too. We had a little issue with timing and payment on the day of our wedding but not a big deal. I had bought a cake topper to go on the cake but I guess it was too heavy when she put it on and made the cake lean. Luckily she was able to fix it and just put flowers on top instead. I thought the pricing was really fair after checking out some other bakeries in the Sacramento area. I never knew how expensive wedding cakes were until I started planning my wedding! I’m glad we found Jamie and she was great to work with. I definitely recommend her!
