A Schoeneman & Co Inc

Im writing this review with a heavy heart, as Schoeneman & co where recommended by a close friend.
I have waited over 8 month, i have tried to reach Mr Schoenman every which way, all i got were smiles and broken promises
Please save yourself time and money and avoid this service. They promise miracles, yet they send the cheapest workers with no experience.(they collect their fees ASAP)
I had a guy doing tuck point (it was his first time on such a job. never did it before) on my chimney, yet it has been leaking for the past 8 month

All my attempts to to try and have them complete the job (another 30 minutes of their time) in person with Mr Schoeneman as well as emails and phone calls ended no where. .
This is the answer i received from Mr Ron Schoeneman after 8 month of trying to finish the job, this is a QUOTE:
NOTHING TO DO WITH ME MAN YOU DID HALF IF WHAT YOU GOT PAID TO DO
IF YOU GAVE ME MONEY IT WOULD BE DIFFERENT
This is the answer i received, they were paid as well as the contractor they send, yet after an unfinished job, i am asked for $$$$$
What a shame

I recently completed a very complicated rehab of a house I own jointly with my ex-​wife. We were in the middle of a divorce, with us each moving in & out when we suffered a massive water loss from a frozen pipe. We lost all contents in the house and essentially had to clean & gut the entire interior.
I work in the insurance industry and there is no amount of direct experience you can have to take on yourself the complications involved in trying to remedy a significant casualty loss to your home or place of business.
Your first call in any circumstance like this should be to an experienced and reputable adjusting firm like Schoeneman. They are a family business and you will receive service like that of family. You can’t expect everything to be easy in these situations, but I believe Schoeneman brings a very pragmatic and assertive approach to getting the insurance claims settled fairly and the repairs completed timely.
I ran into several roadblocks courtesy of banks and lawyers that put a lot of undue pressure on Schoeneman and myself in getting through this process. But I never once felt as though I was getting anything but 110% effort from everyone at the firm and I would never have been able to get through it without them.
Schoeneman did all of the repairs and I also had them complete several upgrades at my own cost. The speed and quality of the work was excellent.

We had a house fire on May 25^th, 2009, which destroyed EVERYTHING. The event itself was devastating, and we had no clue where to begin. We spoke to a few of our friends, and they referred us to A. Schoeneman and Company, a private adjustment company that helped people who suffered a loss to their property from events such as fires, floods, burglaries, etc.
From the moment we met Ron Schoeneman (the Vice President of the company), until now, he has been nothing short of caring, professional, accomodating. and above all, took the stress out of dealing with this catastrophe! We had never heard of adjustors before, but had a few friends that had gone through burglaries, floods, etc, and they had all used A. Schoeneman. So, purely through word-​of-​mouth, we decided to go with this company. And let me tell you, if you’ve never used an adjustor before and gone the process yourself, you don’t know what a disservice you are doing to yourself.
Ron’s team came out the day after our fire, boarded up our entire house so that vandals didn’t break in; they started the insurance process for us, contacted all the appropriate people (such as our homeowners association, insurance company, temporary living). We were in a rental property in less than a week after the fire. To most people, that was unheard of!
The hardest thing after a fire is trying to remember what items you had in your house. You tend to remember a lot of the «big ticket» items such as tv’s, furniture, electronics, jewelry. but you don’t really think about all the little things that have value such as drapery, flooring, fixtures… Ron’s team actually went in about a week after the fire, and itemized each and every single item they found remains of. To give you an idea, they even itemized something as miniscule as a thumbtack! If it was in the house, rest assured, it was on the list of «lost valuables.» This list got sent to our insurance company, along with a «value» assigned to each item, and our insurance company basically worked with A. Schoeneman and Company to settle on a figure for both our loss of contents, as well as for our structural damage. We were beyond ecstatic with the settlement we received, and had we gone about this process on our own, I don’t think we would have even gotten half of that amount!
A Schoeneman & Company is currently finishing the rebuilding of our house. it has been a long road for us since May, but they have been there every step of the way to help us out. Our house looks beyond amazing, and it actually looks like the dream house we always wanted. Although a fire is never something you would wish happen to anyone, rest assured, if it ever happened, A Schoeneman & Co is the way to go! If we had to redo everything, we would definitely still stick with them, and we are recommending them to everyone we know!
