The place is terrible. It so dry and need new promoters. Owners should sell it. I even buy it and transform the place into some thing better. The theme and the ownership is terrible. Bartenders are drinking on the job and racist. I don’t have to wait 5 minute for a shot of henny. Eddy g bars and clubs are better.

My understanding is that this lounge used to be called Luna Lounge but closed down. It’s under new management and is now called Social. I like the space and lighting. The music was great(the DJs saved the night) but it was pretty empty for a Saturday night. I would like to believe the crappy weather had a lot to do with that. $ 18 for 2 drinks(one top shelf). I would go again but they might need help with promoting the place. I think once word of mouth travels, people may give the place a shot. Also, I passed its location at least twice because their sign can be easily missed. Maybe you could suggest a sign with lights if you decide to go.

Dead on a Sunday night, not sure what the rest of the weekend looks like here.

I’ve been here many times. There’s always a cover charge. It’s very small and can get very hot and muggy when crowded. The drinks are average priced. Nothing out of the ordinary here unless they are having a well promoted event/DJ. I wouldn’t bother stopping by. There are better venues nearby with no cover charge

Here we go… The place is super small so beware! As a native of the area I have no choice but to be honest all together. The local club promoters literally take up half of the bar and you are STILL forced to pay $ 5 if you choose to party here. If you can get past these things than you just might enjoy yourself. My biggest beefs always have to do with the music. The DJ’s offered a nice mix the times I was there. I got to listen to some old school hip hop, some house, and some really good salsa music. It’s pretty easy to find but parking is a nightmare. I will say that I would opt to go here over Destino’s because there is a Diner that I love within walking distance. It’s is a pretty decent neighborhood on a busy well lit street. So after the bar you can safely leave your car for an hour while you get a bite to eat and sober up. The bar is open until 3am which is pretty consistent with all bars in E-town. The diner is not 24⁄7 but only closes for a couple hours around 5−7am. Don’t expect to do anything but drink and listen to loud music here. But if you can do those 2 things and make it home in one piece on a Friday night I guess that’s what it’s all about.

I really try not to write a bad review. I like giving compliments to locations but this place was just too much to ignore. Luna Lounge was the first stop in our Bachelorette Extravaganza… we arrived around 11pm. We were confirmed a «VIP table» or booth. This place is small… really small. VIP consisted of a coffee table by a leather couch along a wall by the entrance. The party(10 beautiful ladies, including the bride) did not fit next to the coffee table. About 10 minutes into our arrival to the table I was approached by a young lady who said the table belonged to her and we had to leave. To avoid an argument one of the bridesmaids called the owner/manager. She basically yelled at him telling him that she reserved two«VIP» tables for her mother’s birthday and we were not part of her party. The manager/owner apologized to her and us because there was a misunderstanding about the VIP section. He proceeded to go behind the bar, get an 18 inch round table(a table you would see in an hallway with a lamp), placed it between a mirror and the DJ booth and said — here’s your VIP table, ladies! It took everything in me not to laugh in his face. The table wasn’t large enough for our 10 drinks let alone 10 people to sit around. Oh yeh… and there weren’t any chairs. We tried to make the best of the evening but we couldn’t. We ended up finishing our drinks and going to another location. The DJ for that Saturday night had a great variety of music and his mixes were good. The drinks for the price were reasonable. But I could not handle the service. For a drink I could see this being a place to go. But for an entire evening, ABSOLUTELYNOT… do NOT bring a party here, it’s not worth it.
