Great dogs and great service. Owner came right to me as I approached the counter. I told him it was my first time there so he kindly pointed out on the menu how you can order your dogs. I asked if he had well done dogs. He said he’d make it for me the way I like. Dogs are cooked over a flame grill. I got 2 chili cheese dogs and the chili had a nice spicy bite to it. The amount of chili on the dog was equal to the amount of meat in the hot dog. 5 bucks and I’m full. I’ll be back for sure!

Food is pretty good… and the price is right. Employees are always nice and friendly… and when I call ahead, it’s waiting for me when I get there.

Not so good. Food not the same consistency even in the same order. Not worth the money they want for what they give you.

A great grilled dog. The chilli is the drier, Plainfield style. The wait staff is great.

I was here three days ago and the sign outside(and the menus inside) say Linden Texas Weiners. Manny’s was no where to be found. The menu also said serving customers since 2010 which makes me think this is a new place. I ordered the texas weiner combo all the way, which is two hot dogs with chili onions mustard with fries. That came to $ 8.00 with tax. Ok serious problems here. First, both my hot dog buns were split on the bottom not because of a huge dog or anything, just laziness on the part of the«cook». Second, I have never been so disappointed in my life. These were pathetic. Besides the split bun, the buns were just gross, something wonder bread would not be proud of. Not fresh, not tasty, pale white dry bread. Second, the«chili» was not only really dark but really dry(like bone dry). Never had chili had no type of moisture in my life. Third was the dog; thin and weak and not snappy at all. Hey I am a foodie and texas weiner lover. If you call yourself Linden Texas Weiners you better bring a solid dog. But you didn’t. In fact, you fail on all three fronts(bun, chili, hot dog). The only reason why you got 2 stars was the waiter was nice to me. But it begs the question of the initial reviewer why would I want table service for a hot dog place? I would eat elsewhere.

I was in the neighborhood at 12:30pm today so I had to try Manny’s again. I ordered 2 dogs ‘all the way’($ 2.20 ea) but this time, take out. I sat in the comfort of my car as the aroma of the weiners filled the cabin. The skin was cooked nice and it was snappy. The chili & onions had a nice spicy kick topped with mustard. Man, this time around these just had the perfect blend of taste. Diner, coffee shop – whatever, this time I highly enjoyed these hot dogs. I’m upping my stars to 4. For me, to go is the way to go!
