Littleton / Lisbon KOA

Just be aware that your campground is on a main road and there will be road noise all day. I can’t really dock them a star for that, since many campgrounds in NH are by some kind of road, but also because KOA’s «thing» is that they’re accessible and all across the country are off moderately trafficked roads.
Beyond that, the service was great and the people manning the grounds were very nice and attentive. We were in a tent site by the river for a week and we really enjoyed how spacious our sites were (the tent sites by the road, though only a couple of them, are much smaller and your neighbors will be far more noticeable).
The RV sites are closer to the road and if you’re lucky, can block out some of your road noise.
On one side of the site across the river were people doing some construction in the evenings, which got a little loud but eh, seemed ok. The one thing is someone living across the river (you can’t see the house in full foliage) has dogs they leave out ALL day and night and will bark quite a bit. They also seem to listen to loud music with the bass turned all the way up — this could disrupt your sleep at night. I recommend bringing ear plugs if you’re a light to moderate sleeper. Heck, even my fiancée who can sleep through a train running through the living room was waking up to the bass/​music.
The facilities are cleaned from 11am-​1pm every day and are spotless, for the most part, when done. They hold a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning and an ice cream social on Saturday evening. Neither are special but can be a great way to bring people together.
Dogs are allowed, with two separate places to take them for the bathroom, but they can walk with you all over. Just bring your own poop bags — they provide them, but only in the two designated areas.
Great place to go if you’re a first time camper, as you don’t have to go without much in terms of comforts.

Camped in a tent for the first time (as an adult). Nice place. Priced well. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. On the river, which is nice. Right off main road though, but wood barrier helps block some, but certainly not all of the noise. Pool is small and lacking, needs a good overhaul. Pretty sure it is salt water but is pretty murky. Still swam in it with the kids though, and it was nice and warm. It is only about ten minutes from anything needed (groceries, restaurants, etc.). All of the amenities that anyone can need while camping. Loved that the trail to the bathroom is fairly well lit so didn’t really need a flashlight. Saturday offers $ 2.50 all you can eat pancake breakfast. Lots for the kids to do and felt safe for everyone. Will definitely come back!

Nice clean campground. Quite a bit for the kids to do. Enjoyed our time there. Small and quaint. Very Friendly and helpful staff.
