Newell Recycling Southeast – Douglasville

So I tried to Check In here but this location is several miles away from the address shown. I looked it up and still they show the same address as listed here on Unilocal.Best I can tell you is that is right next door to the Shell Gas station. If you are traveling from Thornton Road end and you get to Greystone Power then you have missed it!
It sits opposite from the corner of Hwy 78 and Wallis Road. Same side of the street as Greystone.
We brought a Honda here to crush. This place pays a reasonable amount for metal. I saw Cars, Car Batteries, Stoves, Refrigerators, Dyers and a truck load of Christmas Trees all coming in to be weight so the customers could get paid. One guy drove a Taurus up there and crushed it. No, I am so not kidding. He said it was worth more to him crushed than trying to drive it around.
I would call to verify what they will and won’t take. Probably no TV’s, Computers or Tires. I do know that they will take Non Ferrous Metals which are metals like: Aluminum Cans, Sheet Aluminum, Extrusion, Copper, Brass, Lead, Titanium, Wire — Insulated/​non Insulated, Radiators, Stainless Steel, Motors/breakage…And Ferrous Metals like: Steel, Cast Iron and Magnetic Metals.
