Great food, fast and courtesy, not tonight. I was rushed over and over and they hadn’t even given my complete order. My chicken quesadilla was empty and burnt. Yes BURNT and EMPTY. What? ?? Why? ?? My hot dog head so much mustard it didn’t make any sense to me. Yet again, Why? ?? Horrible

Can’t say nothing bad if it’s great! $ 6.00 a person gives you a shake in your hand, and you start hollering«Cook Out»! At the top of voice, to all the people all over.

I do not recommend this location at all !!! This location is fairly new and the customer service was horrible. The cashier in the drive thru messed up my order 3 times. My food was not fresh or hot. They need new management and employees. The worst cook out I’ve been too.

The food here is awesome, the prices are fan-freaking-tastic, and the ladies behind the counter are amazing. I really don’t know how this place gets 3 stars when it clearly deserves more. I have been coming here once a week since this place opened and purposefully waited until I tried 50% of the menu before I wrote a review. Y’all need to eat here. Smile and be nice to the ladies at the counter like your momma taught you and yo will be rewarded.

Great food at great prices. My burger was good but my peanut butter milkshake was amazing! I read some not so great reviews about the fries but I really liked them and the onion rings. The coleslaw and hush puppies were okay but I think I’ll try different sides next time and there definitely will be a next time! The customer service was good, very friendly employees. My kids got a corn dog(99 cent) and chicken nuggets(also 99 cent). A definite win in my book.

Not bad… Very clean place! Always get the $ 5 plate other wise it gets expensive. It’s like every other cookout hot and tasty food. Much more crowded than usual. Other than that this place is decent not a super high class restaurant but just enough to be as good as a clean decent McDonald’s and food is just a little better than McDonald like fast food place.

I love the cookout, I visit this one and the one in Milledgeville. But this one has fallen off. My first couple of visits the food was always hot and cooked right. Lately when i order a regular burger(not the thin patties that come with the lunch special) it has been burnt. Not slightly burnt but burnt as in the bottom of the burger is black and charred. Who in good conscious would sell a burnt burger. This has happened on two different occasions. The first time I just thought it was an oversight, but now I feel it was done intentionally. This location will not get any of my or my family’s business.

I’ve had tastier chilli cheese dogs but it was okay. The shake was good. The drive thru line was actually moving. I went around 1am on a Friday night/Sat morning., I was actually shocked. I came one time before & ordered a bbq chicken sandwich. I didn’t like that at all & the place was packed. I think the employees need to be a lil friendlier to their customers & give out napkins!!! Especially when someone orders a chilli cheese dog. I may return, I’m not sure yet lol.

Drive thru is always pretty packed, but your order is ready very quickly. Dining in, although it’s small, there were available seats, and food was ready in a timely manner. Super affordable, delicious custom burgers, & the selection of shakes is amazing. Would definitely go again.

The value is great for the made to order milkshakes! The kids and I love them. The service is slow so don’t stop here if you don’t have the time. I don’t like going inside, the crowd is not«family friendly«I always get my families food to go. The onion rings are REAL no minced onions here! I loves them with the cajole season! They will Add it to any item for free but you have to ask for it.. The foods is always hot and fresh. The value of what you get for the cost is great!. SO, bottom line is the Cookout is a great place to eat but get it to go.

Mmmmmmm so good! We had the fries, well seasoned and wonderful. We also had the char-grilled chicken bbq sandwiches, simple but very flavorful. Had the reece’s cup and snickers milkshakes both amazing. Food was piping hot, huge plus. Staff was nice, food came quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. Wish we had this in Houston!

Two stars for the newest building on Panola Road! I had high hopes for this place I really did… Don’t believe the hype!!! My first trip: I wanted a Vanilla shake so I went and got one. It was pretty good. Took a look at the menu(lots of options) and decided the food was worth a try and went back. Second trip: The building and design is very nice. Helps spruce up the area a little bit. I’m not a fan of any drive thru with no thru traffic. If you get in line or change your mind, you’re stuck there so get over it. I figured since they’re known for hamburgers that I should order that with fries. Service was fast and they got my order right on the first try(which doesn’t happen often) and the prices are really inexpensive for the amount of food you get. The burger was ok, better than most fast food places but those fries were gross! Probably the worst I’ve had. Tasted like a freezer, and super dry. To top it off, on my way out there was a female employee sweeping off the table tops with a broom! The same one she had just swept the floor with! YUCK! So my assumption would be if she does it to the lobby, maybe she does it on the food surfaces in the back… I probably wont be back. Food wasn’t that great.

Really like the food… when they actually get ur order correct! Whomever manages that place needs a big fat F!!! 1st rule of managing a restaurant… no matter how good the food is… if the service sucks you won’t have repeat customers for long… last weekend I was in line for 30 damn minutes… mind you… once ur in line around the curve ur stuck… then get home and the order is wrong!!# MAD as hell!!#

The place is aaiiight, the parking is jam, mixed in with the drive thru so hungry folks can get a little ill-tempered when traffic gets going. While you are in the drive thru you are approached with a menu so be ready when arrived to the speakerbox, they get you in and out. For the menu there is a super wide choice of foods, the cookout tray starts with a burger, Chicken ect, 2 sides, finished with a milkshake upgrade. Note you would think with 2 sides would be a bundle but the onion ring choice is just 3 peices, no complaints, this place would be the perfect stoner meal. The burgers are wrapped in aluminum foil which makes everything extremely soggy especially when tomatoes are inside. The burger are charbroiled, the only downfall I would say for my own preference — the cheese whiz on all of the items, not a fan for but some like it. I beleive this spot is overrated kinda the talk of the town just like how Sonics went. I have to say that there milkshakes are delicious with an extreme wide selection of flavors, I had the strawberry cheesecake and damm it wad good, a heavy meal I would say. I wouldn’t go here daily, you may have a heart attack at an early age. Service was good, very polite at the drive thru and nice. The folks out managing traffic were nice as well, give then some patience I can see they were doing there best. Overall it was ages good shot I’m just shifted to a healthier alternative but I will be back for the milkshakes! Try em yourself!

Cheap Eats! This is my first visit to this location and my 2nd to the chain. I had the cookout«tray» with 2 Chili Cheese Hot Dogs, Fries, Onion Rings, and a Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Shake. I wasn’t a big fan of the cheez whiz on the dogs but the fact that the hot dogs tasted like they were right off a charcoal grill made it not so bad(hence the name«Cook Put». All of my food was piping hot which is always a perk for me! I was expecting my shake to be more flavorful but it wasn’t. I was shocked that I didn’t finish it. Maybe I should have stuck with Oreo as I’ve tried before. Overall I will more than likely dine here again. I’d pick this over McDonalds any day!(I don’t eat there!!!) Be prepared for a long line. I went around 3:00pm and it took a little while before I go to the speaker at the drive thru.

ATLANTA… Really??? REALLY Atlanta? For real… C’mon now. THIS what you been raving about?! Nah… Looks like I’m still going to have to make that trip to Moreland Ave, just to see if i missed something, because this new NEW location on Panola Rd. Let me down. BIGTIME! This location is about a week old by the time I decided to visit. Of course, the line was wrapped around the building. And it’s been like this ever since the place opened up. «Forget that», I said, and parked my car and went inside. Glad I did, I got my food pretty quick. Like 5 minutes quick, despite being busy inside as well. I quickly scanned the menu and decided on the Big Double Burger. It comes with«bacon…cheddar cheese» I got excited to see that it come with 2 sides! Especially, because they consider CHICKENNUGGETS a side! I was all like«HELLYEAH… OK»! So I had fries and NUGGETS as my 2 sides and a drink. Again, food came out quick, filled my cup, went to a table, sat down, and opened my container… …my burger was wrapped up tight in some aluminum foil. This does NOT help with presentation at ALL. Lol, My burger bun was smushed to hell. I peeled the top back on that thang… and to my disgust… CHEESEWHIZ! THEYPUTCHEESEWIZONTHEIRBURGERS!!! So I takes a bite… Lol! …and the meat tastes EXACTLY like being at somebody’s COOKOUT, that had those disgusting FROZENBURGERS straight out the frozen aisle, stacked in the plastic bag, with a piece of paper separating them at ALDI or KROGER! Y’all know what I’m talking about! No mistaking it… Don’t laugh. In fact EVERYTHING in my container looks fresh up out the grocery store frozen section. Remember those chicken nuggets I was excited to see as a side item. They give you 3. THREE!!! ANDTHEYLOOKLIKETHEYBELONGIN A KIDSLUNCHABLE!!! NOQUALITY at all! French fries? FROZEN section! …tastes like they was baked in the OVEN instead of in grease. And we all know what a let down BAKEDFRIES are. Man…I don’t know man… Don’t believe the hype. Atlanta…I’m sorry. This being the first review for this location… I just don’t have the heart to go ONESTAR. Customer service was on point though… I still gotta try Moreland Ave… just to make sure.
