Everything I’ve had so far has been really good, its nice having them so close. Price’s are reasonable especially the lunch special curried chicken braized oxtail are a couple of my favorites and awsomely good meat pies!

Not somewhere I would have thought of going, but we were there and hungry, I agree that it’s a bit expensive, but the food is delicious. I had the chicken curry with rice and peas and plantains. That was awesome! The sorrel was also good, although a bit gingery. My wife had the chicken stew and it was also pretty good. Not sure if the patties are frozen, though. Overall, a good experience and not too far from where we live, so a repeat visit is likely to occur.

Wow Beef & Chicken patties so good they take you back to Flatbush Brooklyn? Well i’m from Brooklyn born & raised and if this is how the patties tasted there I think I would have moved a long time ago. Small place in a tiny(read crappy) strip mall. Picked up 2 Beef Patties and 2 Tings = $ 7.50, wow $ 7.50 really that’s kind of expensive for something that I can pick up from a new Caribbean spot that’s opened up on 78 that’s charging much less and food that tastes much better. Maybe the owners should take a trip to NY and taste how it’s really done.

Beef and chicken patties with coco bread and a pineapple soda take me back to Flatbush Brooklyn. Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery has patties, plantains, rice and peas, reggae fest combos, pastries, sandwiches, wraps, salads and more. Sauces and seasoning are also sold at Golden Krust and everything is well seasoned and authentic, definitely filling the void of hunger by providing a decent quick fix. Next to soul food, Caribbean cuisine will always be my preferred meal choice so when I’m in Lithonia, this is where I go for a good patty. There is only one Golden Krust in the metro area. This location is more of a to go spot. The food is pretty good. Honestly, the fact that Bridgetown Grill was voted the best Caribbean restaurant in 2006 by Insite Atlanta is a complete disgrace to owners of true Caribbean establishments across the metro area! For real Caribbean food go to or check out for other locally owned restaurants.
