Dana and the staff at The Spa at Stonecrest was very professional and pleasant. The salon is very clean and relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to make my experience an excellent one. I did not feel rushed during my manicure and pedicure. I was unable to experience the massage due to scheduling but the staff offered other facials and massage packages to accommodate my visit.

Went in for my second laser hair removal session, I had excellent results from just the first session. I plan on going back again for a cutera treatment on my face. I have to say, I am impressed with this place.

To my dismay, before I am able to even step foot into the Spa at Stonecrest, I am already disappointed with the way they have handled their business dealings with me. They have canceled not one but TWO of my massage appointments. I was given a gift certificate for Valentines Day. I booked an appointment at the end of February for a date in early March which was canceled because the female therapist that I requested«had an emergency.» Because I know things happen, I simply accepted the dry apology I was given and rescheduled. Once again, the day before my massage appointment(which I was so looking forward to), the spa called again and canceled with a dry apology telling me that the female therapist I requested«had an emergency.» I rescheduled simply because my gift certificate is non-refundable, and I do not want my boyfriend’s gift to me to be wasted, but that will be all the business the Spa at Stonecrest will get from me. It is already frustrating enough that they are only open Wed-Sat, and you have to shed blood to get an appointment that works for a working-person’s schedule. It’s just bad business. Racquel

I’ve been familiar with this spot for a few years now but never made an appointment. That is until I purchased a deal on Living Social. After having to cancel my 1st appt due to a badly broken nail I finally made it in a few weeks later. It was worth the wait. Alicia did a thorough and relaxing pedicure. The leg and foot massage out of this world and one of the best I’ve had in years. I really like that the layout of the spa and hope to go back for future treatments. Definitely another Mani and Pedi and maybe a massage.

I called the spa for a service and spoke with the receptionist. I explained to her that I was interested in a procedure and had some questions, she didn’t know anything about the procedure so I asked if I could speak with the doctor because I would be driving over two and a half hours to see her. She took my name and number and said she’d have her call. A week later I called back and said I had been expecting a call, explained the situation, she took my name and number and said she’d have her call. A week later. same thing.left name and number… After a few days I called back and spoke to a different women, I told her about my situation and said I’d been trying to get a hold of the doctor for over three and a half weeks but wasn’t getting a return call. I tried to get some info on the procedure but she wasn’t very informed and couldn’t tell me much. She told me the doctor does have specific days that she does consultations and procedures on the same day so I decided since I needed to see her anyway to see if the procedure could be done I would make an appointment for one of those days. She scheduled me for a week later. I received a call the day before to confirm my appointment. They had me down for the wrong time, it was 45 min later than what was scheduled but I said fine that would work. I got to the Spa twenty minutes before and right from the start you could tell they were very unorganized. The woman at the desk didn’t have the proper paperwork for me and had to search for it? While I was in the lobby a lady was waiting for 5 mins to pay and the lady at the desk comes out of the back with her mouth full of food and says she was eating and didn’t know the woman had been waiting. I went in for my appointment at 2. I spoke with the nurse and told her what I was there for, she told me she wouldn’t be able to do the procedure that the doctor would have to see me. I said yes I know that’s why I’m here? I asked isn’t the doctor here? She told me she wasn’t in today. I told the nurse that I had been trying to get a hold of her for the last 3 ½ weeks, left my number 3 times, I talked to two different people on the phone before I finally made an appointment and told then SPECIFICALLY why I need to see the doctor and HOWFAR I WASDRIVINGTOSEEHER! She was apologetic but the doctor couldn’t be expected to come in. She asked me who I made the appointment with? Uh well who ever answers your phone… So she leaves and comes back and tells me that for all my trouble I can have a 60 min massage or mani-pedi… I didn’t want any but she kept saying it so finally I said I’d do a massage. I ACTUALLY had to ASKHER if she could at least take pictures so the doctor tell if she could do the procedure or not. She said yes but couldn’t figure out how to work the camera? So she told me to get a massage and they’ll figure it out after. I went in for the massage(which lasted for about 20 min not and hour) and was a total waste of time. After I got out she took photos and told me she would definitely have the doctor or herself call me within 2 days… I was back in my car 45 min after I went in for the appointment(including that hour massage??) I still have not received a call back from the nurse or doctor SURPRISE! The office staff are completely incompetent, no one wanted to take the blame for having me drive all the way down or even booking the appointment. They had no idea why I hadn’t gotten a call back when I left my number so many times. They were unhelpful, unknowledgeable, this office is a disgrace I can’t believe a MEDICALSPA is run this way. I would recommend you STAYAWAY from this place!(ps– this was a simple procedure that supposedly they do all the time. by the way the nurse acted… I’m not so sure, she made me nervous about their skill, so I wouldn’t have gone back anyway) –UPDATE– finally got a call back from the doctor who from the conversation didn’t make me feel comfortable with her skills. She did however call though to give her credit… better late than never… right?
