Delicious and beautiful cupcakes. We ordered 5 dozen for a backyard wedding this past weekend and when I got them home, one of the boxes was damaged and about half of the cupcakes were not«perfect». I called and they immediately exchanged them! Fantastic! Great service and yummy goodies!

I have mixed opinions about Sublime Cupcakes… on the one hand the cupcakes are AMAZING, on the other the customer service is AWFUL. I spent ALOT of money on some cupcakes and i went to go and pick them up. I showed up a little early, 9:55AM, which they didn’t open until 10AM, so i knocked on the door and asked if i could just grab my cupcakes and go. They had already been paid for ahead of time and they were boxed and sitting on the counter. They opened the door and told me that they didn’t open until 10am, which was 5 minutes then. I explained that i had already paid for the cupcakes and they were sitting on the counter right behind her. She just said to me again«we don’t open until 10am» and shut the door in my face. It really mad me angry that they wouldn’t allow me to take my prepaid and boxed cupcakes because i showed up FIVEMINUTESEARLY! So, they made me stand outside for five mixtures until they came and opened up the door to let me have my cupcakes. It was EXTREMELYRUDE and unprofessional to do that to a paying customer. I can honestly say that i will NOT be purchasing cupcakes from Sublime again. I spent ALOT of money there and this is the type of customer service that i get?!

Have NEVER had a bad cupcake from here. Coming from NYC, where the whole cupcake craze seemed to originate years ago, I thought I was over cupcakes. A lot of times, cupcakes seem dry and flavorless. NOT the case at Sublime. Their regular flavors are solid and NEVER disappoint. Their specials change each day and are also delicious. My latest favorite is the Lemon Zinger. But honestly, if a bakery cannot get the basic vanilla/vanilla or chocolate/vanilla right, I become suspicious. Sublime gets them ALL right. get there early in they day as they tend to sell out. Also love how they advertise their flavors each day via Facebook.

Staff is always supper friendly! Cupcakes are always moist and the buttercream frosting is to die for. Try the peanut butter jelly cupcake! Check out their Facebook page for deals. Small location no inside seating.

The staff is the only reason they get 2 stars. The girl behind the counter was extremely nice and a great salesgirl… But The cupcakes are terrible. The icing is grainy and hard. It tastes like bought icing. Maybe a little worse. The cake tastes like box mix with flavorings added. Honestly, I used a coupon, got 6 cupcakes for $ 10, and only took one bite of each before I threw them in the trash disappointed. I paid way to much… Now granted this is lancaster, but there’s a small place in Pittsburgh that makes unbelievable cupcakes. It’s named Vanilla. Former pastry chef for the Duquesne club. Sublime could take a lesson. I will not be buying more. They have a bowl where you can drop a business card and if you get picked, you get a free dozen. I made the mistake of dropping my card before tasting them. If they pick mine I’ll be saying no thank you.

This place has become a Sunday staple for my husband and I. In Pennsylvania, this has been my favorite place. They have a good rotating selection, the cake is good and moist, the flavors are usually fun, and I haven’t had one I didn’t want to devour. Their cream cheese frosting is one of my favorites. I’m a big fan of their fruit flavors. I had a caramel pretzel one that I didn’t love because the pretzels were a bit stale, but everything else was good. The pineapple dream one I had was my favorite — really moist cake, lots of pineapple, and the cream cheese frosting I love. I don’t find these too sugary at all. It’s cake, for God’s sake. I don’t find the pricing expensive. I don’t remember how much they cost because I’m not outraged by it, so that’s good. In relation to the places I got cupcakes at back in Cincinnati, they are lower priced. I’ve had better cupcakes(I spent months trying cupcake places for my wedding) but they are hours and hours away. This has been a really happy place to stumble upon, and I really enjoy them.

Every cupcake we’ve had here has been delicious! Of course there’s some we like more than others. The cake is always moist and has great flavor and while the icing can be very sweet the flavors they’ve come up with are great. We really enjoy the raspberry and snowball cupcakes! It’s a boutique cupcake place — don’t expect to get a dozen cupcakes for $ 5 like at the grocery store. We go here and get a couple cupcakes as a treat because they’re not inexpensive.

Since cupcakes have now become all the rage I thought I would give this cupcake thing a try. Found Sublime searching online for a place close to home. The place is quant and presentation is simple. There were plenty(too many for my first try) to choose from. I fell in love with this place. But as my travels have taken me to quite a few other cupcakeries, this place have fallen much farther down my list. They are very average in flavor and texture. Don’t get me wrong they are still a great cupcake place, but just average. We don’t have many to choose from in this area, so I’m sure I will be back if the itch for a cupcake hits. They do have a nice variety to chose from. And the fact that they also have some in minis is good too.

It was one of those times when I was in a hurry, stumbled on something I thought would work and didn’t check Unilocal to make sure it was a good decision. Going to Sublime Cupcakes was not a good decision. Poor selection. Pricing is high, but I expect to pay more than normal at a place like this. But here’s the real problem, the cupcakes are average, at best. Small to «normal» size. The finishing is again, average at best. I could have easily made these in my home in an hour. And if I knew this was what they had, I would have. This is another case of Lancaster County just lagging behind. The whole cupcake craze has been and gone in most big cities. But the thing those bakeries offered was something you couldn’t make(at least easily) at home. Large, amazing, beautiful cupcakes. Interesting flavors and unique presentations. NONEOFTHISISAVAILABLEAT Sublime Cupcakes. Just small, boring, uninteresting and not very pretty cupcakes. Avoid this place. You would think you would find something here not available anyway else and you’re wrong. You’re better off at many other places. What a shame. —- I’ve edited the rating up to two stars and an adding the following. Yes, their cupcakes are small, not a great value the selection is a bit more mainstream than one might hope from a baker of nothing but cupcakes but you know what? They tasted pretty good. They looked very below average but the cake was moist and dense. The icing isn’t the best(in application or ingredients) but overall, they were tasty.

I love cupcakes. But these really are terrible. The cake is dry and flavorless. The icing is too sweet, gritty texture, and also very little flavor. For what you pay for one of these, I can get a half dozen of much better quality from Wegmans. Flavor selection sounds so good, but the actual cupcakes are a let down. Skip it.

I keep going back to try the many flavors, but I’m never very impressed. As other reviewers have said, they’re OK, and that’s about it. The cake itself tends to be a little dry, and almost crumbles like a cornbread. I have the biggest problem with the icing, it’s not rich and creamy at all. It almost seems airy and falls apart from being so cold in the shop. I agree with another review stating it’s too sugary, there’s no great flavor from the icing. For 2.50 each, I just expect more. Oh, and they only make a certain amount everyday. So if they run out at 4pm they close instead of making more and staying open for their normal business hours. Doesn’t make much sense, the more you sell the more $ you make, why not make more to sell? So you have to check fb to see if they closed early.

The other day we got some cupcakes … Oreo, Peanut Butter Cup, and Snickerdoodle. They were all right. nothing exceptional. After being accustomed to Haute Chocolate’s super rich and yummy CC, this place just doesn’t cut it. My big complaint is the frosting … it’s too sugary and less rich. I didn’t taste any Oreo or other flavor, just sugar. Wasn’t Impressed Sublime … HOWEVER, I might return to try the Red Velevet… which will be the final test ;)
