Very friendly and attentive staff. My teacup was never empty. I got the noodle soup which had a delicate broth. The summer rolls were very fresh too.

I discovered Phở at Mekong East on Bell Blvd in Bayside. That establishment is no more. Luckily, I discovered this place while driving by. Their Phở is excellent and there are more choices than Mekong East. Parking is a problem as I had to find a place 3 blocks away. Despite that, it won’t keep me away.

Best bang for your buck. The good is tasteful, not too salty or has the strong MSG flavor. Super kind waitors, always greets you and makes friendly comments. Their hot pepper oil is spicy and really good. Their take out is also very tasteful, not too greasy and salty. Their chow fun is very chewy and yummers.

Came for the first time on Easter Sunday and snagged the last table. Not sure if it was the owner himself who served us but he was so very Friendly and helpful in ordering. We had the hot pot with veggies, shrimp and black bean sauce. We also loved the steamed spring roll which came with peanut sauce– not too thick. Our friends raved about the hot and sour soup. All the food came hot plenty of tea refills and as a finale chocolate fortune cookies! I will definitely return!

I love this place been coming here for years. The summer roll is great. I like the phở here with pork chops, The phở comes with fresh vegetables and herbs which give it a nice taste. I also would recommend the hot pot with chicken and eggplant which Is very tasty. The waiters here is very friendly. Plus you can bring in your own bottle of wine. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants Vietnamese and Chinese food.

They have poor customer service. After I finish eating, I asked for the bills from one of the waiters and he did not come back with the bill. So, I asked him again to get the bill and he gave me an attitude. Their food isn’t spectacular and I’ve tried better Vietnamese food. The beef soup base for phở was bland compare to the ones in Brooklyn.

Been ordering the office lunch from here for years! We eat at the restaurant a few times a year! Yummy Vietnamese Soups, Chinese Cuisine! Food it fresh and delicious, the food comes out one at a time, if its busy its slower. Not a spacious restaurant but small and clean! Everything is served Fresh, and servers are funny, the boss is not but it doesnt matter. They speak Cantonese and Mandarin too!

Went here for the first time last evening. The place was crowded and we were lucky enough to get the last table. We had an order of Goi Cuon(summer shrimp roll #V1), Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong(marinated grilled pork & spring roll #V49), Pan Fried Noodle w/chicken(#V18) and chinese broccoli. Everything was cooked perfectly and very good. I had originally wanted to order Banh Hoi Thit Heo Nuong, but the waiter talked me out of it, saying I would have to build my own rolls. I wish I had stuck to my original decision — we have certainly had that before and wouldn’t have been disappointed. I am very impressed with the quality of their food. I like the fact that it’s BYOB. Service was good and the waiters trying to be helpful to newbies to their restaurant. I will be back to try the Phở, which looked great.

If you’re looking for an explanation of what any ambiguous ingredient is on the menu, better whip out your phone because you won’t get a sufficient answer from the waiter here. What he will deliver on is fresh bean sprouts, flavorful basil, piping hot broth, perfectly cooked noodles, tender beef, and all the sauces and spices you need to make your phở complete. Make sure you ask for extra napkins because if you’re not dripping with sweat by the time you’re halfway through your meal, you’re doing it wrong.

Decent Vietnamese and Asian food. Usually need to wait a little longer than I would like. Phở with all the innards is good.

So I really like this place and I go here mostly for the Chinese food. I really like how they make the veggies. Perfectly crispy, just the right amount of crunch and garlic. I also love their steamed fish filet Chinese style of course and their shredded beef with bean curd. Staples I can have everyday. So if you want a decent Chinese meal at an affordable price I would definitely recommend you give this place a try. As for the Vietnamese food. I love the grilled chicken over rice.

Came here for takeout one day and it definitely seems more Chinese than Vietnamese. Food is okay, but nothing extraordinary. Fried rice was a bit on the dry side compared to fried rice I’ve had elsewhere. Safe choice for takeout since it’s nearby, but not somewhere I would go to sit down and eat.

It’s average, nothing disappointing and nothing too special. Satay combo — the chicken was good, beef a bit tough, peanut sauce was average, I have had much better peanut sauce. 4 skewers(2 each) was about $ 7-$ 8 Fried vegetable roll — very crunchy, think wrapper, lots of veggies and bit greasy, served with sweet chili sauce Phở — I don’t remember which one she got but I think it comes with 2 pork chops and we added another for $ 2.50(the pork chops were my favorite) Chicken moo shu– smallish portion, tasty but mild in flavor, comes with 4 pancakes. Hoisin is on the table which I like! I’d go back, but nothing to run back for My biggest complaint, they were closing early for Father’s Day which may be reasonable but I did not see a sign… having to rush out was not the most enjoyable…

This place is just ok. Good if you are looking for a place to satisfy your phở craving and don’t feel like travelling farther. The place is a little small, but it didn’t seem to be a problem because it was not crowded when I went(Sunday around noon). I usually judge a Vietnamese place by the quality of their phở and spring rolls, which are my go to dishes. The phở: Taste — The noodles weren’t too chewy, weren’t too soft. Perfect texture. Meat tasted good. The soup, however, was kind of watered down. I prefer my phở soup to have a fresh cinammon-y smell and to be a little on the salty side… but it was bland. Adding thai basil did little to help. If only the soup were better, it would have been perfect! Portion — Not too big, not too small. Definitely enough to fill me up. Good amount of meat… also not too much and not too little. Value — At $ 7, I would say this dish is just average. It filled me up and was good enough to satisfy my phở craving, but wasn’t anything special. Overall 3 out of 5 stars. The spring rolls: Taste — Love the skin as it is different from how most places make their spring rolls. Instead of a smooth wonton-like skin, it was more of a puffy crispy skin. The bad thing about the skin is that it gets a bit soggy if not eaten immediately. I like taking my time when eating spring rolls so that’s was a bummer. The meat used inside could use a little work though as it was a bit plain. Tasted ok. What I found odd is that they didn’t serve the spring rolls with lettuce to wrap around them, as most places do, and they served it with sweet & sour sauce instead of fish sauce. Weird. It’s ok though because I was able to ask for fish sauce without a problem. Portion — Bigger than spring rolls from most other places. That’s a plus! Value — 4 large spring rolls for $ 4.95. I would say this is a pretty good price because they weren’t dinky-sized spring rolls and tasted decent. Overall 3.5 out of 5 stars.

For a quick phở fix, it’s not terrible. The broth is pretty good but what is with the meat being cooked all the way through? Pet peeve is, if you say you deliver, don’t give me the«It’s too busy» to delivery BS. You should have a dedicated delivery person who isn’t helping in the kitchen or front of house!!! At the least when I picked up and brought home everything was packaged well so there was no spillage or anything. It was packed the day I went in so will try eating in house and order some other things and report back here.

Good, so so phở. The noodles are a little sparse but the soup is good. Other dishes are good not fantastic. The owner really kisses up to «lo fans», while ignoring the rest. What’s up w. That? Been here 40x and I’ve seen it several times. Anyway it’s nearby for me and not too pricey so it’s just ok.

3⁄12 stars. But, I don’t know what the complaint is about. Went to get a quick phở fix since I was around. Yes, they serve basil instead and their phở contains these little sausage/meatballs but I know this is fairly common in some other phở places and it was fairly delicious. Only thing I didn’t like was that the brisket was cooked all the way through instead of rare/medium rare. Other than that, will return if around the area.
