With a well-trained medical team and office staff, we take great pride in the environment that we have created at APEX. Our team boasts years of local experience, expertise, and practice familiarity, with very little position turnover. Currently employing numerous working moms, we believe that providing schedules that allow more quality time with their families directly correlates to the family-like atmosphere we have created in our offices. Our familiar and nurturing environment is vital to our ability to fully comprehend all of the medical and cosmetic needs of our patients.
History
Established in 2000.
Under the guidance of Dr. Alexandra Theriault and Dr. Juli Wallner, APEX dermatology has served the front range for the past 12 years. Beginning in 2000, Dr. Theriault and Dr. Wallner have grown the practice to include two dermatologists, two physician assistants and one aesthetician. With a strong belief in providing compassionate care, the team at APEX dermatology is committed to providing the highest quality of skin care service.
Previously located on the Littleton Adventist Hospital campus, APEX dermatology moved to its current Littleton location in July of 2003. In the summer of 2006 the practice grew to include a second location in the Lowry neighborhood. With the addition of the second location APEX dermatology is able to offer dermatology services to the entire Denver Metro area.

Dr. Theriault graduated magna cum laude from The University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at The University of Texas at Houston and was selected as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her Dermatology residency at the University of Colorado. She became board certified in Dermatology in 2000. She served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at The University of Colorado from 2000 – 2002. She is currently on the teaching faculty of Medical Education Resources. She is also mentoring medical students at the CU Health Science Center as a preceptor. During her free time, she enjoys skiing, running, hiking, playing the guitar and enjoying time with her husband and two children.
