APM has showed me how to measure my business. Now I can see how my business is doing (growing). Also coach me on creating a team environment and came up with a great pay plan for my writer that motivates. APM helped me create a high yield marketing plan and sure fire ways to improve customer relationships and customer loyalty. My company has been using auto profit masters since before I worked there. Since I was hired on they have helped me and the company I work for become a better more profitable business! Terry and Dave are exceptional people and the best at what they do! If you own a auto repair facility you are throwing money away by not using this company!

I have been working with APM for over two years. My business was in dire straights and I was seriously thinking about closing the doors. I worked with other consultants before and all they did was take my money and leave me in as bad or worse shape than when I started with them. I heard about APM and became interested in them because they acually own their own shop. The other consultants in retrospect had no clue about how to successfully run a shop. They sold what they «knew», not what actually «worked.»
Right from the beginning the people at APM were upfront with me and told me what to expect. They told me if I listened to them and did what they recommended, I would be successful. They also told me that if I was stubborn, let my ego get in the way of listening and learning, and did not change based on their recommendations, I would continue to fail. They also told me they would apply «tough love» in our relationship and would confront me when my ego and stubborness got in they way. Their point was they were not out to take my money and just let me fail, they were in this because they wanted me to succeed and being tough was an act of caring.
Right from the beginning we started seeing postive results. My pricing model was way off, many of my employees were problems, and our shop operations were not good and very inconsistent and our service advisement was also not good. Without their coaching, none of this would have ever been addressed and fixed. I later upgraded to their full blown coaching service which was the best decision I made.
What I’ve learned in the past two years is that these people both know their stuff and care about the success of their clients. Everytime I listen to them and do what they suggest — they have been right! Everytime I acted stubborn and did not listen to them — — they were also right! It took getting rid of my stubborness and ego to really start seeing the significant consistency and growth of my business. We’ve had record growth in sales the past two years after previous years of decline. Month to month we have been consisent, where before our sales spiked up and down in ways we never understood.
My wife and I used to watch the Food Network Show «Restaurant Impossible» and we would say to each other that I needed someone like Robert Irvine in a show called «Auto Repair Shop Impossible.» What APM did for me is no different than what Robert Irvine did for failing restaurants. We are now successful, growing and very confident about the future.
APM is the real deal!
