Autoworks Colorado

Our Mini Cooper and Audi TT are still in Mark’s care for any problems/​repairs. Mark and his team are excellent. From diagnosing the problem to the repair, this place is awesome and reasonably priced. More importantly, the service is always top notch and guaranteed. By the way, the shop is super clean which is important to me as well.

This isn’t a review so much as it is a word to the wise. When my BMW came off the lease I searched around for a well run and honest place for service. I don’t remember how I found Mark at Autoworks but I was very happy I did. I believed I had a good relationship with him for almost 6 years. If he told me my «thingy-​ma-​jig» needed replaced — I handed him my credit card. I had complete trust in him. I recommended at least 4 other BMW owners to him. The shop is located way out of my hood — but I happily drove there each time just grateful how well he took care of my car and me. Then came time to sell the Beemer. I took the car in to make sure it was ship shape before listing it for sale — Mark gave me a clean bill of health. My buyers wanted the car completely checked out by a mechanic (understandable) — and I was all too happy to recommend Mark. The deal was made — the buyers would pay for the review — and I would deliver the car for the ‘look-​see’ — which I did.
Ouch! Should have let them find their own mechanic. When the buyers called back after getting Marks assessment they reported he gave them a list of service needed Mark had just completed months prior. Of course to my buyers I was the fishy one when I explained the items Mark flagged were items he had just serviced. I don’t blame them, it came down to a ‘he said/​she said’ deal. The buyers suggested a price reduction to ‘cover the needed service’ and I folded like a cheap suit. (The ink was drying on the deal across town on my next vehicle.) Autoworks Colorado is truly worthy of all the 5 stars they get here on Unilocal — just know that when you break up with them — the love is gone.

We have been to Autoworks a few times now and are able to give an honest review at this point. They are wonderful! We have been given excellent customer service and our car has been tuned and repaired to our satisfaction. Mark has answered all of our questions and has not recommended any unnecessary repairs. Our car has left his shop in a timely manner and usually within range of his original estimate. We will continue to trust him with our business.

We now have 3 cars that Mark takes care of: A 2000 BMW X5, 2006 Porsche 911, and a 2008 Mercedes 300. We have used his services since the X5 was 2 years old.
Mark has ALWAYS been honest with us. Mark will give alternatives to any services suggested. Any work done has been done right the first time. I have referred several people to him and they all rave about him.

A friend recommended I check Autoworks Colorado as my estimate from Murray BMW was going to be $ 4,000.00.
Autoworks seemed to be anywhere from 15−40% less than the estimates from the dealership depending on the particular issue.
Mark is very nice and understood where I was coming from in that I could not afford to have everything repaired that came on the report from the dealership.
Although it was not too convenient from where I live, it was worth it for the savings and the honesty I felt I got from Autoworks.
They work on anything German – from a Jetta to a Porsche 911.

Autoworks is THE place to go to get some TLC for your European Beauty. I had a few challenges with my Mercedes Benz SL 500. I went to about 10 shops and they were all blowing smoke…
Autoworks had polite personnel, very knowledgable, great turnaround times and my baby runs like clockwork again.
It’s always a great relief when you feel the shop is taking you seriously. That’s Autoworks Colorado.

What a find! Autoworks was fast and by far the most affordable. I was very impressed and will be taking my BMW back in the future.

I used Autoworks Colorado for years when it came to repairs on my Audi. After months of shopping around o discovered that Mark (the owner) was always straight forward with me when I asked which repairs to prioritize and if I could ever avoid any. On more than one occasion I expected an expensive repair and Mark solved the issue with a much cheaper solution.
Additionally I took my car to two other shops for the same problem. Each of the shops insisted I replace my transmission for around $ 6000 in order to resolve the failing torque converter in my vehicle. Upon speaking to Mark he surprised me with the info that the repair would only take $ 3000 and wouldn’t be necessary for months if not years.
The honesty and professionalism I experienced with Autoworks will keep me coming back for a long time in the future.
