Our main digital camera brands include Canon, Fuji, Leica, Sony and Olympus, but we carry all other brands in our used department. In addition, check out our great selection of tripods, camera bags, student cameras, lighting equipment, and darkroom supplies.

Looking for printing services? We have a full service lab that specializes in photo restoration, scanning services, and a great selection of print options. We print from digital format or film! You can conveniently order your prints online and swing by the store to pick them up!

History

Established in 1989.

Englewood Camera was formed more than 60 years ago, on Acoma Street in Englewood. We have been in our current Littleton location since 1989. For the past 20+ years, we have been the go-​to store on all things photographic, and are one of the last «real» camera stores in Colorado. Englewood Camera specializes in all things related to photography, including digital cameras and accessories, tripods, used equipment, camera bags, film equipment, darkroom, and more. Our new selection includes Canon, Fuji, Sony, Leica, and Olympus cameras, but we carry just about every other brand in our used department. Bryce C.

Manager

Bryce Cole began his career at Englewood Camera in 2001, taking on the role of Store Manager. He’s an expert on used equipment, vintage cameras, and all things digital. Bryce became interested in photography when he moved to California to attend Humboldt State University for his Bachelors. Though he majored in Natural Resources Planning and Implementation, Bryce started making pictures with an Olympus OM-​2S at the same time. Currently, Bryce enjoys taking pictures of his two daughters, as well as intimate landscape. He uses an Olympus OM-​D EM-​5, and his lens of choice is the Olympus M Zuiko ED 12 mm f/​2.

I wish these guys did more than just sell camera gear, they are amazing, I think that they should open a restaurant, hotel, coffee bar, day care, I would use them for everything. I have never come across consistently incredible service, EVER. Nothing is too much trouble for this team. 10 Stars from me.

I was in a serious pinch yesterday when my wife’s camera hooked my backpack then dropped to the cement and destroyed the lens. I saw Englewood Camera while on vacation by happenstance so I ran there as quickly as possible so I could rescue my wife’s plan to photograph aspens this week. Sherry (sp?) quickly got to work helping me and listening to my situation and needs. Long story short I walked out of there a hero to my wife after upgrading her to a better lens that was slightly used for a price she couldn’t believe. Thanks for the rescue, the fun, and the sincerity.

This company is THE BEST camera store in town. They are LOADS better than all the chain stores like Mikes, Wolf, etc. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and their prices are competitive. I will never go anywhere else!

Recently needed an opinion about a repair to my old standby Canon Rebel, circa 2001. I elected to replace the damaged camera with an upgrade Canon body, an XTI Rebel thus saving sending it to Canon.
Expert advice and availability was the answer and I left with an amazing replacement saving dollars and getting a quality nearly new camera!
I highly recommend Englewood Camera for ALL photographic needs.

In town visiting for the week and really wanted to upgrade my camera but not much to choose from as far as stores go back home. I located this place via Unilocal and SO glad I visited! Not only did I find what I wanted but I had the BEST service from Kyle! He reviewed all my camera options & after purchase helped to show the settings for different uses & then gave great photo location options to visit while in town! I could not ask for better service before, during and after the sale and if needing anything else camera-​wise in the future plan to only use this shop. True knowledge of product is priceless and it’s definitely available at Englewood camera. Thanks Kyle!

I went into try to sell some antique camera equipment that I had. I walked in and everyone was very helpful right from the get-​go. I went up to the counter and showed him what I had but unfortunately he said he was not able to take any of the equipment because they were not purchasing anything at the moment. That was kind of a bummer but at least he was very friendly. If I ever have to get a camera or any other equipment I will definitely go back there.

Love this place!
For one, the staff is all great. No matter who helps me out, they are all happy to lend a hand, answer questions, and go above and beyond.
If you are using them to develop film, you should definitely become a part of their member program. The initial cost is $ 15, but you are given $ 15 credit towards your next process, and you continue to accrue discounts with every purchase. Totally worth it.
The only downside to Englewood Camera is the price of some of their materials. For film and papers they are slightly more expensive than some online retailers (including shipping) — but it’s worth it to support a local business and get that one-​on-​one attention.

I purchased a used camera a couple months ago and I just found a slight defect in it. I brought it in today to see if it was just me having the issue and after several attempts to fix the software and firmware on the camera found that the camera had a physical defect. It was exchanged for the same camera instead of making me wait for it to be fixed. I feel like I got top notch customer care. I would certainly recommend them to anyone in the photography business or any one who is a hobbyists.

My first experience at Englewood camera was poor due to inadequate customer service. The combination of a young lady on her cell phone and a very unfriendly older gentleman whose people were greatly lacking convinced me to seek a more friendly place. Please give BRANDY a raise! She went SOOOO above and beyond from our first visit/​consultation to have some travel photos made into large canvas prints and also into some 8X8 dry mounted squares for our new home in Conifer. She put a lot of time, effort, expertise and honesty into making sure which of our photos would be best for enlargement and helped edit them as well for best color/​quality too! Having this work done took a bit longer than expected but was totally worth it as we felt Brandy would not let us leave the store until everything was done perfectly!
We had so much fun hanging everything up and are SO proud of our new custom personal artwork!
A great thing as well is that Brandy really said our photos were great and believe it or not, they were all taken with a Olympus tough shockproof digital point & shoot that we got from your store several years ago! My father had given us an expensive hand me down Nikon with several lenses and although it was appreciated, it was too much for us to learn/​deal with on our many outdoorsy/​rugged vacations and we traded in one of the lenses for this great camera. We’re shocked at the high quality photos we often get just from a point & shoot! Thanks to everyone at Englewood Camera for helping make our new house a home and especially to Brandy for all her mad skills & hard work!

One of the best experiences in camera repair!
I went their to fix my camera and thought I might have to spend hundreds of dollars. I chose the Englewood Camera due to their outstanding Unilocal reviews.
The staffs were extremely friendly and polite. After looking at my camera, one of the staffs thought it was a minor problem and he fixed it immediately. It was free of charge although I repeatedly offered him some fee. How often does this happen nowadays?
The shop has many nice products with a fair price. I bought several items. I will absolutely be back again to buy camera products or fix my camera equipments.

You don’t have to read my review to see this place rules. I went in for my first time today I was greeted only moments after entering by two people. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was looking for an in-​expensive remote for my Nikon D5200, They have a great selection of new and used equipment. The salesperson gave me three options and explained the pros and cons of each without making me feel like an idiot. I purchased a used remote the salesman gave me brand new batteries and even opened another item to photocopy the instructions for me!
This is a small shop that does business right. I think I have found the «Cheers» of camera stores!

In order to compete with the behemoth on-​line camera stores out of New York and other locales, who can use their tremendous buying power to get deals unavailable to any local brick and mortar store, your local camera store has to offer something more, and Englewood Camera does just that. It is a family owned store with a staff of first rate, knowledgable, and friendly people, and offers the obvious advantage of letting a customer actually hold and try out a new piece of gear before purchasing it. But as a working professional photographer for over 25 years, I need more than chat, and they have never let me down. Pricing is competitive, support first rate, and they happen to be very good about carrying the mirrorless interchangeable lens system cameras that I use for most of my work, specifically Fujifilm, Sony, and micro four thirds. Of course, they are also a Canon dealer if your preferences run to more traditional DSLRs.
The reality of digital photography is that pros need to upgrade their camera bodies more often than back in the film days, and Englewood Camera is flexible and fair when it comes to trading in well cared for used equipment. Of course, this means they always have a good selection of reasonably priced used gear as well. Printing and scanning services are run by real professionals as well.
Highly recommended, no reservations.

A rarity nowadays, Englewood Camera has a plethora of products and services for anyone in need of a one-​stop shop. Film and digital cameras, darkroom supplies, studio lights, cases, and more. On top of that, the store is replete with experts in just about every field of photography and product.
This isn’t your one-​hour lab either. They do a wonderful job and are very thorough. Be sure to take your time going through the store to appreciate the wonderful juxtaposition of the newest digital cameras right alongside antique film cameras and the mini photography museum corner they have.
Can’t say enough good stuff. If you’ve been snubbed by other places before or are looking for top-​notch products and staff, look no further than Englewood Camera.

I love this store. Frequently I stop in on my way home from work; not for anything I need in particular, but I seem to always leave with a bag in hand. Staff is knowledgeable and they have a good choice of Olympus MFT supplies and accessories. They even have some gently used lenses too for those of us who are looking for a deal. I recently picked up a Olympus 12 – 50 after trading in my 14 – 42 for a good value. Honestly I wish I hadn’t traded that 14 – 42 lens away. It was a good lens and 12 – 50 (while I love it) I miss the 14 – 42 that fit nicely in my small camera bag and doesn’t shadow my flash. Oh well, I guess I better go back and see what I can pick up over there.

Having been to most, if not all, of the camera shops in Denver, I can tell you that Englewood Camera and Photo is first-​rate. They have a huge selection of equipment and almost everything any photographer could need from the beginner to the advanced.
They carry a large variety of brands like Canon, Nikon, Tamron, Vanguard, Lowepro, and a whole slew of others. If they don’t have something in stock, they’re more than happy to order it for you. The staff is more than helpful, but in a good way. They’re there to answer questions and help you find what you are looking for, not to pressure you to buy anything. They’ll answer questions to the best of their ability or just shoot the breeze about photography. They develop film on-​site and also teach various classes.

A friend told me about them. Whenever I’m around I stop in. It would be nice if they posted all their inventory so I didn’t’ have to make a dedicated trip. Once you’re in the place I don’t’ know how you don’t dig it the most. The associates are knowledgeable and considerate. I’m going to pick up a 11−16m Tokina there. For used equip their prices are realistic if you don’t’ want to gamble on ebay and hope the quality is accurately represented. I’ll buy here before ebay for used equip anytime. Check them out!
