I have shopped at this store since it opened. Today I went in to find a battery for my car lock bob. Vialia C was my cashier, but before that, she asked if I needed help. I told her I needed a battery and she helped me to make sure that I got the right one. By the time we finished, another person was in her line. After she went out of her way to make sure I got the right battery, I waited and went through her line. She is what makes the store one of the best. Thank you King Soopers.

Not the better service I have ever received. They totally baited and switched me too, as they lured me in with a $ 25 grocery credit with a RX transfer, but then when I want it, they find ever reason to not find me eligible for it, and so, I didn’t receive the credit. They are much slower at filling RX then I am use to, like I had to come back the next day. Plus they seem rushed and to busy to give excellent service. I’m thinking about transferring back to the hospital where it came from. The thought of being surrounded by coughing sick people seems better.

Terrible policy to require pin with debit card. I will take all my business to trader joes. After 20+ years… Good bye.

Today I went in to pick up my son’s birthday cake and something must’ve happened to my online order. No worries at all, the staff in the bakery stepped up and had a new cake exactly as I ordered in ten minutes. They were so apologetic although I know things like this happen. But I was appreciative of their kindness. They really went above and beyond!

Always nice and friendly. Sushi is great and the chef is funny. They always have my honey smoked salmon. They now have a Starbucks Coffee. Life is good in this hood. And my favorite they hire local kids to cashier.

They added an in-store Starbucks on Aug. 24, 2014, so we Columbine denizens no longer have to schlep three whole miles to the giant Starbucks on Wadsworth. I’m also happy to report that they continue to expand their selection of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options, particularly in the freezer section. The … what should I call it? Offbeat Dietary Options? … freezer section has easily doubled in size in the past year.

This is for their pharmacy– The pharmacist, Dina, is very rude. She does not listen to customers and acts quite arrogant. I had to fill a medication that was written for one strength, but they had to split it up into two different strengths because the manufacturer doesn’t make it in that one strength prescribed. The pharmacist gave me half the medication and did not fill the other half. I had known the strength and had asked for that strength filled earlier(gave them more than a few days to fill) and they didn’t fill it right when I picked it up. When the doctor originally prescribed this, I could not stop by and grab it. So I had to call in later and get them to fill it for the strength(that I verbally stated to have filled-I knew the strength). They did not fill the prescription in its entirety. Dina tried to blame me and did not accept any responsibility. This is a new strength for me and they(as pharmacists) are the ones that aware that the medication was split. Since I don’t know the manufacturer doesn’t make it in the whole strength, I didn’t originally realize it was split until I got home. Her demeanor should really call for her to be reprimanded by her superiors. I complained, but I sincerely doubt anything has happened. I used to be a pharmacy tech, so I understand the demands of the pharmacy. However, I never could act this way to a patient, especially when something like this happens. Her attitude was quite shocking. Pharmacists should be responsible and take the initiative to take responsibility for pharmacy errors(and this was a pharmacy error). Errors happen, just own up to it. I have had this happen when I was working, and I have always known it was a pharmacy error. I just wanted acknowledgement by the store, but that didn’t happen. District manger was kind, but I haven’t heard directly from the pharmacy manager of the store.

It’s your standard King Soopers. I’ve become a bit of a Whole Foods snob over the years and I’m always disappointed when I can’t find the same things here. I suppose that’s to be expected, though. This location is usually pretty well stocked. Everything is easy enough to find, although I can never seem to find everything on my list without consulting the aisle menu or asking for help. The service here is fair. I’ve never been super impressed or super disappointed. Most of the time I just stick to the self-check out lanes(they have 6 here, which is great). I am pretty disappointed in the quality of their deli foods. I have purchased multiple items here and have always ended up throwing them away. Even with copious amounts of dressing and hot sauce, they are still gross. I will never purchase anything from the deli at this location again. 2 stars because it’s your average grocery store with average service and terrible deli food.

this king soopers is pretty organized and located next to liquor mart and also a goodwill, so you can kill some time when you come to this location!

Smaller store, could use a better gormet cheese shop and more ethnic selections but always has what you need. Location down street has better everything.

The location 2 – 3 miles south has a much better selection.

This is my go-to grocery store just because it’s so darn close to my house. It’s currently under construction so it’s a little more bonkers than it usually is, but hopefully it’ll be better when it’s all done.(Consider yourself warned — they just moved a bunch of shelves around to work on the flooring so some of the aisles are barely wide enough to turn a cart around in… so think about what time of day you’re shopping and avoid the rush!) The parking lot is a madhouse but that’s mostly due to oblivious people. The construction was a drag a few weeks back so I hit a Safeway instead — and ended up completing my shopping at Soopers after all just because everything was so much cheaper! The produce at Soopers is generally quite a bit cheaper than other places I’ve shopped, and I’ve yet to find better prices on pre-packaged sliced cheese. With coupons and store card discounts, I generally save about $ 30 on every $ 100+ purchase. I’m a sucker for some coupons! My biggest pet peeve at King Soopers is the cashiers. They’re almost always having loud, annoying conversations across a couple of lanes and are oblivious to what the customer is doing.(Who me? I’m waiting for YOU to finish completing my purchase by pushing whatever last button you have to push… not just standing here for fun.) And seriously… could they bag items in a more impractical way, and with more bags? I’ve been on the ball lately and remembered to bring my own bags(for which you get 5 cents off per bag), but I want to kick myself on the occasions when I forget. For 10 items, they manage to send me home with 9 bags. And when I say you don’t need to bag my milk, I mean it. True story. It’s got a handle; I’ll figure it out.

It’s like I never learn… but, this time I did! I will never shop at this store again. I went in to grab a few things and figured since I was there, I would head over to the deli counter. The deli counter was packed and no one knew who was next in line. Eh, no biggie. The deli worker told me she would be right over and quickly cleaned off the slicer in the back. As she was walking over to me, I asked the person I was speaking to on my cell phone to hold on and put my phone by my hip. The deli worker looked around at everyone, not knowing who to help first, and then looked right at me. I said to her«‘I’m ready whenever you are” — it didn’t seem like anyone else was ready to order. She nastily said to me «I don’t help people who are on their cell phone» and proceeded to help someone else. I get it– it’s rude when you have to wait for someone to get OFF their phone when a line was building up, but I was not having a conversation on my phone. She had my undivided attention. I promptly left the counter, had the manager paged and told her what happened. The manager offered to get me whatever I wanted from the counter, but I was so done. It’s bad enough the store is always crazy, no one seems to know what’s going on, but now the workers dictate who they help and who they don’t help? Yes, in a medical office of any type, it’s rude to use your phone. But, this was the DELICOUNTER. I hate this store and will never shop here again.
