We are a teaching, therapy and coaching organization to provide parents with the best parenting tools available in the new millennium.

I have helped thousands of parents and families in my practice and classes for over 30 years. We also specialize in helping parents with more difficult children that defy their authority, have ADHD or exhibit a myriad of discipline problems. I help parents coach their children to overcome: behavior problems, lack of respect, school decline, ADD, divorce, step-​families, blended families and adoption issues.

I am dedicated to creating a safe, confidential and caring environment from which people can learn, grow and create fulfilling lives for their families.

My belief; is that with the right tools, children can learn coping skills, move past losses, reprogram self-​defeating patterns, learn values, better communicate, develop great self-​esteem and reach their goals to become happy and successful!

History

Established in 1980.

Helping children give me so much meaning in life that I specialized in working with children early in my professional training. I went on to work in residential treatment for children then the schools as a team leader for special education. I began teaching parenting classes there in 1978. Since then I have talked to 40 million people through talks, television and radio.

I am a licensed psychologist who has successfully helped thousands of people in my therapy, coaching and teaching practice since 1980. Extensive work is done with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. My therapy programs create deep healing for individuals and families wanting to overcome a broad spectrum of issues. I also assist couples to build healthy communication and lasting relationships. I do parent coaching with parents by phone from any location.

I earned degrees from the University of Colorado, Washington University and the University of Denver with a Doctorate in Professional Psychology. I consulted for the State PTA, served as a board member for Family Tree Inc. and was honored to serve on the Governor’s Commission for Youth Suicide Prevention.

I am the President of Parent University, Denver Therapy Center, Ascend Coaching and the Institute for Integration Therapy. In addition, I am a father and an author of the international parenting book «Lessons From Littleton». Media appearances have included CBS Evening News, NBC News and Inside Edition television shows. As national speaker on suicide and violence prevention I have done numerous consulting and speaking engagements for the community.
