Lukewarm food, skimpy ribs, and half the food seems to be from the freezer section at Albertsons up the street. Service was friendly but slow. Would not come back again, can do better at a Chilis.

One of my standards to measure other BBQ joints by. We love this place. The baby back are«fall off the bone» bone wonderful and the St Louis style are equally as tender. Pulled pork sandwich is great, add your favorite sauce and its finger smacking time. Service is usually good, sometimes it can get slow but it has never been obnoxious. Servers are friendly and accommodating to your likes/desires. Love the local appeal of the place. We have taken several of our friends here and they have all enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Never a complaint from them.

Love this place. Ribs are amazing fall off the bone. My favorite place when I’m craving ribs. I love all their sauces they have. I like the smoked flavor of the meat and their sweet potato fries are amazing! I love that it’s a family restaurant and it’s not too noisy. The service is amazing. Our server Steve was fantastic he filled out drinks before they were empty and came around often to check on us.

Decided to visit this place after years of driving past it. It’s a pretty small place, maybe sits 20 tables tops. Our server was pretty nice, but she didn’t seem like she wanted to be there(it was a Sunday night, I probably would feel the same). I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich, while my girlfriend ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I had to drench mine in bbq sauce, which made it pretty decent. My girlfriend picked at hers because the bun came out pretty soggy. She’s from KC, so she can be a bit BBQ snob, but she seemed to like the pulled pork. The best part was the BBQ sauce, I tried the spicy one and was pleased. Overall, I was content with the experience. Both of our meals costed under $ 20, so I would go back.

Best baked beans I’ve ever had. Service is excellent. Sauces are great. Feels like family. No ice cream for dessert. Sweet tea not sweet enough for me. Overall great for lunch.

We came on a Sunday night. The place was almost dead. I ordered the BBQ chicken meal with BBQ beans and corn. The food tasted«old». The chicken was super dry and the skin(usually the best part) was cold and chewy! The baked beans were runny and the corn was over cooked. We ordered fries; bland. Overall, I see no reason to be back.

Should be ashamed to be known for their ribs. Hard and dry. Service was slow and appeared it was the waitresses first day ever and had no training. Out if coors light. …for 3 days we were told… best thing was the French fries. Sad it wasn’t better bbq. Will not be going back.

A great Restraunt and very reasonably priced. We find it cheaper to go there and get a great meal, than heading through the drive-thru. The servers & management are ALL very kind. Lastly, don’t leave with out a piece of key-lime pie.

Normally we are a plate clearing kind of couple, but at Rib City we actually tried to hide how much food we left behind by stacking our plates up. Neither one of us finished anything we ordered. The meat was all tough and dry. The smoked chicken tastes like a chicken ashtray. I know, smoked chicken is smoky flavored, but I also like to taste the chicken. They offer multiple kinds of BBQ sauce. All are questionable. She even brought one out from the back. THESPICYSAUCE… We think it was watered down Tabasco. ?! Skip this place, you’re not missing anything.

Great food and wonderful service. My wife, five kids and I had a wonderful time. Very reasonably priced.

They should probably change the name of their skyscraper sandwich to «modular home» sandwich. Talk about a disappointment. 9 dollar sandwich and it looks like something you’d order off a kids menu at a backwater dinner. Yet again rib city is a let down.

It must be good because I keep going back and back and back again! The ribs and chicken are great. I love the barbecue beef and pork on a bun. Margaritas are $ 1.50 on Monday evenings. How can you turn that down. The baby back ribs are probably the best on the menu.

Was there for lunch today because a co-worker wanted to try it. It was nothing special, we had the special which was. «Chopped» pork sandwich. We got the«spicy» sauce on top of that which had a bit of kick but nothing I would call«spicy» or «hot». I would rather frequent a different place next time.

The ribs, both the baby back and the St. Louis, were delicious. I preferred the baby back just a little bit. The fries were good, the beans were great, and the service(Shay) was great. Skip the chocolate chocolate mania pie. It was not bad; it’s just that it was not particularly good — not worth the cost and calories.

Pulled pork was good. Fries tasted freezer burned or maybe just old. Brisket good but on the dry side. Weird lots of tables and booths open it was early and tried to seat us at tables in the back between two parties.

Gees, what a great lunch. The waitress, Heather, was very nice and provided perfect service. The food was great. There weren’t enough ribs, but then again, there rarely are. :) I should know that with my appetite a ½ rack is not enough. My fault, not the restaurant. Still, I am full after the beans, cole slaw and Texas toast, all of which are excellent. Love the ribs and different sauces. A nice, relaxing, pretty quiet place for lunch. Music is not too loud. An excellent friendly restaurant. Now it is nap time. :)

I’m a real BBQ whore and given half a chance I will try just about any BBQ joint. So when I started my new job and found a BBQ place close I knew I had to give it a try. I stopped in at lunch today by myself(Mr. Lonely) to grab a quick bite and see if I could find a decent BBQ joint this close to work — as I’m normally not that lucky. They had a special of a beef sandwich, or something like that but I decided to pass and try the BBQ standard of pork. I got their lunch BBQ Pork plate, and decided to try the BBQ beans and coleslaw. * BBQ Pork — it appears they don’t use a pork shoulder/butt but instead use the loin — I base this on the size and fatty content. This means no pulled pork, which is my preference. They sliced it very thin, which was different than I’ve ever had. The smoke flavor was nice, but if they had a rub on it I couldn’t taste it. Not my favorite BBQ pork, but I would eat this again. Tender and smokey. * Coleslaw — Ehhh… pretty plain coleslaw not bad, not great. Would have honestly rather had the coleslaw from KFC across the parking lot. Probably won’t order again, but it wasn’t bad. * BBQ Beans — SWEET! WOW, they have a lot of brown sugar in them. They really need something to off set that sweetness — if it were me I’d add a bit of heat. Again these weren’t bad, but I likely won’t get them again as they are too sweet. Got a unsweetened ice tea(never liked the sweet stuff… almost got disowned from the family when I was a kid for that). Was very fresh — which is exactly what I demand from a BBQ joint. So they got a passing grade here. When the waitress took my order she asked if I knew their BBQ sauce, and even though I had some idea from reading here I said«No.» She explained them and asked if I like heat, and I said I do so she brought me the«hot» BBQ sauce. Once again, the BBQ sauces reminded me a lot of the ones I make at home… I think people are stealing my recipe(yes, I’m that self centered — just ask my wife). :D I enjoyed these sauces, and the tangy one mixed with the hot was very good on the pork. My waitress was very polite, and while not super fast was fast enough that I got out of there at lunch time in about 30 min’s. Over all they rate 3.5 right now, but I will round up to 4 because I like their BBQ sauces and it’s my 1st visit there. I will go back and update my review as needed… but I’m a bit worried about their ribs if they are supposed to be «falling off the bone» as that is a sign of over done ribs. But, we’ll see… we’ll see. OOO… and STOP stealing my BBQ sauce recipe! LOL!

Had a quick lunch with a friend of mine and we were in the mood for some Q. Special of the day was a pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides for $ 6.99. The pork comes out dry and there are 3 sauces on the table. House sauce and a sweeter sauce, both tomato based and had good flavor. The third sauce was Carolina mustard based sauce that I did not try — not a big fan of the Carolina style. The waitress offered to bring out a hotter sauce that had a pepper sauce(like Franks) and another hot element that I can not remember… but it was very good. I had the corn and the cole slaw for sides as they did not have any greens — mustard, collard, turnip… nothing…How can you have a BBQ restaurant without greens??? My friend had the slaw and fries with a spice ranch dip that was very good. The waitress was very nice and did a good job. This place is fairly large — 30 plus tables but only five tables were in use. Clean and good atmosphere.
