Richardson Violin Studio offers Suzuki violin and viola lessons.

The Suzuki method teaches violin to young beginners the same way they learn language – through repetition. Students listen to a CD and learn music by rote although I also teach note reading.

Students may begin lessons as young as 4.

History

Established in 2000.

Mrs. Richardson completed her Suzuki training in books I-​IV in 2002. She has recently completed training in book V and reviewed book I. She is registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.

Sarah R.

Business Owner

Sarah Richardson is a violist who performs and teaches in Colorado. In a 30-​year professional career she has played in 20 orchestras and 4 string quartets in 10 cities; taught private lessons and public school classes and founded and directed a youth orchestra.

Sarah currently performs with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, the Hausmusik Quartet of Colorado Springs, the Central City Opera the Mercury Ensemble and the Colorado Chamber Orchestra.

Her educational associations include Suzuki Association of the Americas, Suzuki Association of Colorado and American String Teachers Association.
