Streetside South is a dance training studio offering the best in Hip — Hop, Breaking, Salsa, Jazz, Lyrical & Modern dance instruction for the South Denver Metro Area. We are located in the City of Littleton, adjacent to Highlands Ranch. Our focus is on forming a true community & making a fun environment where parent & child, jazz & break dancer, young & old can enjoy dance simultaneously. We offer flexible rate options including: drop in rates, cost effective punch cards, monthly tuition. All ages & levels are welcome

History

Established in 2009.

We simply wanted to create a fun place for people of all ages to learn to dance, get moving and enjoy the community that is Hip Hop!

Meet the Business Owner

Matthew G.

Business Owner

Matthew started dancing eight years ago for the performance company Tru Da Form out of the Boulder Moves dance studio in Boulder, CO. There he received his foundation training in break-​dancing, boo-​ga-​loo and salsa dancing. Upon graduation from college, he moved down to Florida to work at Walt Disney World. There he was involved with the Underagroove dance company. Underagroove was the official hip-​hop team of the Orlando Magic and the 2003 and 2004 Culture Shock East Coast champions.

After moving back to Colorado, Matthew became actively involved with Motion Underground in Boulder. Dancing closely with the Elements of Motion dance company. Matthew was able to more extensively train in all forms of hip-​hop dance. For the past two seasons he has served as the primary Hip-​Hop instructor for the South Academy of the Colorado Ballet. Currently, Matthew serves as one of the three owners of Streetside South as well as an instructor.
