I went to get a bottle of wine for Thanksgiving dinner with my 21 year old daughter. Because my daughter«touched» the bottle of wine, the person who was checking us out asked for her ID. I was paying for the wine and showed him my ID. She did not have her wallet with her but I had mine(I am 48 years old!). The man behind the counter was condescending, rude and accusatory. He would not sell us wine because she did not have ID. I saw children in the liquor store with their parents… I am guessing they did not have ID! Won’t ever go back. We went to a different liquor store, 5 minutes away and were treated kindly, respectfully and were allowed to buy the wine. What a difference!
