Absolutely the BEST SERVICE!!! I’ve been to alot of different nail places but this by far is the best!!! You’re not just another number and they value your time!

Where do I begin?! I live in San Marcos but have not been able to find a great nail salon that gives me exactly what I want. After Unilocaling multiple salons in both Austin and San Antonio, I spontaneously decided to drive an hour and a half just to come to Express Nails– and was NOT disappointed! First off I have never been presented with so many gel /​powder color choices, wow. More importantly I was highly impressed with the outstanding customer service and genuine staff! Nancy gave me exactly what I wanted with my acrylics and «grandpa» as they call him, did a phenomenal job on my gel pedicure/​massage. Both took their time; I never felt rushed. I was presented with a glass of moscato, the best massage chair ever (literally), and positive energy from all staff members. Left this afternoon being unable to stop staring at my nails throughout the day!!! Have never been so satisfied with my nails /​toes before. Phenomenal. I have officially found my niche! Although the drive may be far, this place is so absolutely worth it! ¹⁰⁄₁₀ recommend.

I like my nail care/​eyebrow waxing to be clean, relaxing, and pretty. This place is clean.
Ranking up there with top five worst nail experiences of my life is this gem. My expectations were not high for a last minute ‘let me try this place out before my eyebrows take over the world’ place but I also don’t want to pay to bleed.
The pedicure was efficient and very basic, moderate pain. The wax was mediocre but $ 8. The final manicure made me want to cry. Pinching off pieces of my perfect fingers pissed me off Mimi! This brutality resulted in a $ 4 tip and a fleeing customer.

Had a great pedicure done today. They are very friendly and do an awesome job! The salon is very clean. My daughter also had one and thought the same thing. This will be our new nail salon. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. Beautiful nail art. This place is a definite go to! I’ve been going to the same sail salon for as long as could remember, however, one day I thought to myself why not switch it up a little. So that’s when I decided to try the new nail salon in town. Fortunately enough my experience with this new salon was so lovely or even put it as extraordinary. Ever since then I’ve become a regular to Express Nails… Best switch up I’ve ever made!

How does this place have stellar reviews? I walked in to just get my dip nails off and get a regular manicure without color and it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon.
The nail tech cut my nails with a dirty cuticle clipper as the first thing without even asking if I wanted to keep them long, insisting that the natural nail was thin (which they aren’t). She soaked my nails in a bowl of acetone even after I told her I didn’t want that because it’s super bad for your nails and fingers. Then she argued with me about that. So she wrapped one hand and soaked the other… just to «prove me wrong.» She continued to talk on her phone and just get up and leave for long periods of time. And then she didn’t even get all the polish off that I had painted over the dip!
Worst of all the place was disgustingly dirty. Trash and dust at my feet, dust all over all of the equipment, nothing being sanitized, trash overflowing, dirty uniforms, and dirty hands.
Never. Again. Initial politeness doesn’t make up for dirty or incompetent in this line of work.

Tried to go here today based on all the great reviews.
When I walked in I was told it would be 10 minute wait. 15 minutes later I was told it would be another 5, then they told me they took another girl just to paint her nails so it would be another 5. I left and won’t be back. Horrible service didn’t even get my nails done.

I found the perfect salon felt very pampered and taken care of! Definitely will be coming back again!

after reading stellar reviews, i took a chance on changing salons and this place is GREAT! At first I was a little hesitant, but after talking with my nail tech I knew I was in the right place. She did my nails exactly the way I asked, and never cut me. She and her husband I found out are the owners, and they are very nice people! They do a great job, and offer lots of services at reasonable prices. Complimentary beverages with services, I chose white wine :) can’t wait to come back!

After reading the reviews for this salon on Unilocal I decided to give them a try. I was immediately welcomed as I walked in the door. I requested a deluxe pedicure and full set and I was not disappointed! The pedicure was heavenly! The lady who did the pedicure was patient and meticulous. My full set was shaped perfectly and was exactly what I asked for. I have been looking for a new «nail salon home» and I think I’ve found it!

After reading the reviews I decided to stop by. I had a manicure, toe nail color change and a lip/​brow wax… All for $ 38.00. Super nice people who take pride I their work. With the toe nail color change, typically other salons just change the color … Here they unpainted my nails, clipped my nails, filed them and buffed before painting. My favorite part was actually the WAX! She was quick! Not super painful as usual and I didn’t turn red! Usually I have to go home and wait a few hours for the red swelling to fade, but not today! Great friendly service with reasonable prices! I think found my «home» salon!

I made an account just to leave a review about this place. Best nail place I’ve been to in San Antonio (and I’ve been to many.) Great selection of gel polishes, very friendly staff and my fill on my acrylics + gel took about two thirds the time it typically takes other places but came out so much better looking than they usually do. Also their prices are very affordable.

This nail salon is awesome. I was in desperate need of a good place to go since my son decided to tell me that I needed to get my claws worked on. From the moment I walked in to the salon, they were so friendly and the lady who worked on my nails, Nancy, did them beautifully. She was very meticulous about her work which I really appreciate. I found it to be pretty affordable compared to some other spots that I’ve tried in the area and they were quick. I’ll definitely be visiting this salon again.

My children and I stopped in here on Thanksgiving for pedicure and manicure, the owners were amazing!!! They were very friendly and provided exceptional service and the décor was relaxing!!! I would definitely come again when I am in town!!!

I drive by this location almost daily. Do I try them or do I not. I love supporting local business but my feet have traveled many footsteps and I am not a spring chicken. Today I decided I would go there and if dissatisfied… I have the choice of never going back.
Well…drum roll… outstanding! You feel welcome the minute you walk through the door. Yes, they are busy, but they immediately try to accommodate you and they don’t forget you. After 5 minutes you feel like you have been going there for years.
I now have my new location. Close to home and I am so glad they are part of the Live Oak community.

Greeted at the door, told them why I was in and was told it would be about a five minute wait. The waiting area had an oversized couch and a couple matching chairs as opposed to the regular rickety chairs you encounter in most salon waiting areas. A nail tech called me over maybe 3 minutes after I’d arrived and looked over my nails. In the past I’ve spent an hour to an hour and an half having a set removed and here I literally had my set removed and nails buffed in under 20 minutes. Quick, painless, staff is friendly, and prices are good.

Really great place it’s nice, quiet, and relaxing. They greet you as soon as you walk in. Was able to get a manicure and pedicure immediately, love that I didn’t have to wait. I recommend the deluxe pedicure, they have several choices of scrub that all smell amazing.

Up and coming to be one of the greatest Nail spot in Texas! Please be sure to check this place out if your in town! Other competitors are trying to disrespect and leave false reviews. You just have to see for yourself what a great place and service they can provide!
