Actually we have used JL Hearne plumbing since he started on his own. We havent used them alot, but when we did need them they were great. Until this last time. I knew we had a collapsed line from the kitchen sink. I explained that to Rebecca, Jerry’s wife and she sent a crew out without a sewer cam. So we had to reschedule it. They next crew came out with the sewer cam and ran it and saw the line was collapsed. The plumber that was there said he would have me an estimate by the next day at the latest. Several days went by and nothing. I wrote an email to Rebecca and she wrote me something back that was not relavent to my house. I wrote another email explaining that I needed a tunnel job proposal for the insurance company. She finally sends me a proposal that will not work for insurance companies. I sent her back what the ins. company requires as in itimized, which she sends me back an email that says, and I quote «Let me spell it out for you ! CALL WHOEVER YOU WANT ! As long as it’s not me! JL Hearn» and that is copied and pasted. I will NEVER use JL Hearne AGAIN!!!

Liars. Told me I would get my sink fixed as soon as the part arrived. Nope. They called on a Friday to schedule for next Tuesday. That does not seem as soon as the part arrives as promised. Don’t believe them, find someone else.

Stephen was tenacious in finding the source of sewer smell! We called on JL Hearn as a second opinion since previous plumber couldn’t find anything and had expensive solution for testing. Stephen took the time to find an existing clean out which saved over $ 700 that the previous plumber said it would cost to install one! So grateful for his expertise and willingness to go above and beyond! Would highly recommend!

JL Hearn has fixed a garbage disposal for me, installed a french drain by my driveway to prevent flooding, and also installed a reverse osmosis system in house. I am always 100% pleased with their work. Jerry and crew are courteous and hilarious, too! Good guys that are quick and actually affordable. I am so glad to have the best plumber in San Antonio! Next week, they’ll be installing a new dishwasher for me — I never hesitate to call them for my plumbing needs. Score 100 for them, they’re aces!

Not at all happy. He left 2 assistants to snake out outside vent due to washer backing up into kitchen sink. No problems with sink or dishwasher draining at all as his assistants saw when they ran my water full blast for extremely long periods of time. hot and cold together! I told them the washer was draining better but they insisted on taking apart my sink to snake through there, told me I needed $ 200 more to run a camera, and claimed there were roots but NEVER showed me evidence despite my standing right there watching everything! Now my sink and dishwasher back up and the washer problem is worse than ever. I tried to get them back to fix what they screwed up but not able to talk to the owner just the wife and I doubt she reported my call. I would be very careful using this service. He installed my hot water heater and you have to be a contortionist to read the control dial and they left greasy hand prints on the wall and closet door.

Jerry Hearn and his assistant Alex are wonderful. Jerry quickly evaluated the problem, explained the issue, fixed it and then advised how to prevent it from happening in the future. Not only did they address all of my plumbing issues in a timely and cost effective manner, they are extremely nice guys! I highly recommend this company.

We just bought our first house, and lo-​n-​behold our main water line sprung a leak. We looked around for a plumber near-​by with good reviews and found JL Hearn Plumbing. We gave them a call, I believe it was after hours, and the owner showed up first thing in the morning. He was very courteous and made quick work of patching up the leak. He let us know that the entire main line would probably need to be replaced soon. Sure enough, a short time later we sprung another leak. Again they showed up first thing in the morning, gave us a quote, and when the work was complete they stuck to their quoted price. No hidden costs, or any of that jazz. I called around for other quotes on the cost for the same work and he was by far the best priced, nobody else even came close to matching him. I have dealt with some other issues with our house, electrical and a/​c, and found poor service as the norm with the companies hired to fix these other issues. Just got some simple plumbing work done on my house. .. the guys who did the initial plumbing on my house did a poor job, so I needed two hose bibs replaced. Easy for a plumber, but hard for a guy like me who was trying to clean up a mess left behind.
Jerry, the owner, was incredibly prompt in getting in touch with me and got me scheduled quickly. He showed up on time, got the work done quickly and professionally, and guaranteed his work. This guy clearly understands friendly customer service and getting repeat customers.
