I can not say enough about Appliance Tek! Professional, Knowledgeable, Prompt! Tim had my oven fixed within the hour– and that included a trip to pick up a part! He had a part that should have worked– but Tim thought that for safety, he should instal an exact replacement part– he quickly drove to his supplier and back to Livermore and had my oven ready to cook that night. I was very impressed with how quickly Tim had me baking again! Why go anywhere else? Appliance Tek is your resource for repair!

Several weeks ago I had water damage in my home caused by a roofing company. As a result my wood floors in kitchen and dining room needed replacing. So of course I called Tim to remove and replace my apliances. All five of them. He’s been doing my installation and repairs for years and always fixed them right the first time. While he was here I had him look at my furnace my fan was acting up he found the problem order the part and had it repaired in a matter of days. You’d be hard-​pressed to find anyone else with more knowledge and integrity then Tim… Thank you Tim for taking care of me once again, in my book you are the best

Great experience with Tim. We are new to the area and our house has a gourmet kitchen. The Thermador range wouldn’t light and seemed like it had no power. I called and even over the phone I could tell he knew a lot about Thermadors. He arrived within the hour.
He had the burners going within minutes of walking into our kitchen! It was something simple and dumb, but he never made us feel foolish.
He did a quick tune up of the range, swapped out some weak igniters, gave us a primer on how to use such a fancy oven, then went on to give us helpful pointers to get the most out of our trash compactor, dishwasher and the other high-​end appliances the previous owner had installed.
His price was very reasonable for the value he added. We are keeping Appliance Tek’s info handy for whenever we need appliance help in the future.

I can’t give him a review on his workmanship, we never got that far; but I can give him a review on his honesty and professionalism.
Let me start off by saying I called two other businesses the day before I called Appliance Tek and I did not receive a call back from either. The next day I called another business that had an answering service and still no call back. Then I called Appliance Tek!
I left a voice message and within a half hour Tim returned my call. I told him what was going on with my washing machine. He said he wouldn’t be able to make it out to take a look at it for at least a couple of days. I really didn’t want to wait that long. He totally understood and said if I couldn’t get anyone to look at it sooner, give him a call back and he would get me in. He was so nice.
I called another appliance repair shop in my area. The guy picked up the phone right away and said he could come out that day, but the whole time he spoke with me he was rude and acting as if he was doing me this huge favor. I set up a time and then something hit me. Why was I giving my business to this guy who seems put out by my call and not to Tim, the guy who was super nice, even though he probably wasn’t getting my business? I told this guy to forget it and called back Tim.
I left another message and again Tim called back quickly. I told him I would wait until he was able to come out. He then explained he was on vacation (still called me back!) and asked if he could get my washing machine model number so he could do some research before coming out.
The next day Tim called with news that the part I needed to fix, what he thought was the problem, was no longer available. He was still willing to come out and take a look at the washing machine, but wanted to give me a heads up before I paid for that expense and then probably would have to just buy a new washing machine anyway.
He was right. I had been researching the problem myself and left a few online questions and the answers were all the same.
I would definitely recommend Tim! He could have easily came out and charged me to take a look then given me the info. He could have made a couple hundred bucks for the drive over and a few minutes of his time. I wouldn’t have known the difference; but he didn’t take that route.
Finding workers who are straight up and honest is not easy these days and I greatly appreciated Tim’s honesty!

This is the best number to call for appliance repair. My Bosch dishwasher did not drain and I called Appliance tek, Tim came in within the hour and fixed it. I will recommend Appliance Tek.

Appliance Tek has done lots of work for me over the years, and I’ve always been happy with the outcome. Tim has fixed our refrigerator replaced our garbage disposal and built-​in microwave, and installed our high end Bosch dishwasher. He’s always taken care of our appliances in a timely and professional manner, very friendly, and the customer service he provides is superb. Very competitive pricing too. Highly recommended!

Our washing machine (a newer Whirlpool model) stopped working and I called Appliance Tek. Tim was able to come right over and assess the situation. He was straight-​forward and honest — told us exactly what was wrong and what was needed to fix it. Pricing was really competitive (less expensive than other quotes I received) and the actual repair took no time at all. Tim was thorough in his explanation of the problem and even gave tips on how to make the washing machine last longer. All in all, a very positive experience. I’ll be using Tim again (but hopefully not too soon as it means another appliance would stop working).
