Oil changes are really quick, the mechanics are always VERY sweet and VERY helpful. They will answer any questions you may have.

Their oil change prices are cheap however they are not truthful. He told me my air filter needed to be changed and that it’s important because it’s the air that flows into the cabin. Um, no. The cabin air filter does that.
The air filter change would be $ 44 dollars… That’s weird because I have personally bought them at the auto store for 12 bucks and changed it myself.
Maybe this is their scam for women. I read another review where the woman said the mechanic told her most places don’t change air filters. Uh, hello, look on YouTube, it takes literally 3 minutes and no mechanical know-​how to change it yourself.
I hate when people feed me bullshit. I’ve tuned up my own cars and am not a clueless idiot.
Buyer beware, cheap oil changes with up sell, up sell, up sell.

I found my new local mechanic…
First time I came here for a oil change, I had a great experience. Dude’s not the friendliest, but he’s professional and doesn’t try to up-​sell which is a huge plus. From parking my car to driving back out the lot was about 20 mins. Total cost minus the help check-​in: $ 29 dollars. Conclusion awesome.
Second time I came in for a Smog check. Same guy at the window. Same demeanor. Same professional manner. Great. Dude remembers my name. Awesome. This could be my new neighborhood mechanic. I tell him I need a Smog check. Cool. Hands me the invoice to sign. I sign it and go gave a seat. I open up the invoice to look at it more carefully and almost choke when I read $ 118 dollars minus $ 7. I wait for the guy to come back to the window to ask him about the invoice. Turns out it was just a mistake. Mis-​scribble. We shoot the shit a bit and, turns out, he’s a really nice guy.
Bill comes out to be $ 42. Sweet price. He hands me the keys and we shake. It’s official… I found my new mechanic.
By the way, his name is Phil.

I have to say this is a no B.S. Place, they didn’t have many discounts but they did have good prices I payed 34 bucks for an oil change and had my car back in less than 25 minutes. Overall great!

I needed an oil change, so I came in first thing this morning before work. The price was very reasonable, almost $ 10 – 15 less than other places in the area, and on top of that they have a $ 7 off Unilocal check-​in deal. Perfect! I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, and the guy (I’m assuming he’s the owner) was very friendly and efficient. I will definitely be coming back!

Brought my Audi in for smog and oil change. Before leaving I asked if they reset the service interval, they said they had. Driving down Stanley I heard something scraping, it was my belly pan. Drove back and the guy was a total dick when I asked him to put it on a little better. Ended up just removing it entirely. Today I noticed the Service warning is still coming up when I start the car. I’m very nice when I go in so its not like I’m prompting this attitude. I’m not ever going back.

i Got a oil changed there for the first time. Service was fast but not so friendly. Price was good. ill go back again but if i get greeted again the way i did then it will be the last time.

These guys are fantastic! I’ve come to them twice now, once last year for my car to be smogged, and today for an oil change. My car was telling me my oil was at 15% and that I needed my tires rotated. They were very nice, knowledgable and honest. They looked at my car and said my tires were good until next oil change and that my air filter would also need to be changed. They told me the price of the air filter when they told me this which is something not a lot of auto places do. Overall, their work was very quick, honest, and they explained everything to be so I understood how my car is doing. I will definitely come back to them again.

Good stuff. I only got an oil change, but it literally took them less than five minutes between when I got out of my car to when he was ringing me out. I appreciate that. Friendly, and they do the work right there in front of you, make sure they are using the right oil, etc.

Honest professional people running the shop here. Phil was great. Got me in and out for an oil change in 15 mins on my Prius. He also checked and topped off my fluids as a courtesy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering service. This is how I would expect service.

This place is probably the best place to get an oil change in Livermore. I usually get min in Fremont or San Jose as Livermore is usually pricier in just about anything. I thought I’d give this place a shot when I saw the Unilocal reviews and it was a good experience to say the least. Laid back guys who don’t try to sell anything extra. They checked my battery at no extra charge and said i did not need to change it. Great service and the Unilocal coupon makes it competitive with the SJ oil changers.
Oil change includes topping off any fluids that are low, oil change, and reflated tires! Can’t beat that.

With the Unilocal coupon I got my oil change for $ 30. Service was fast and the two guys that were working there today are so nice! They have an air-​conditioned waiting area for guests with a few refreshments while your car is being serviced. If you pay with a credit card they have a tablet for you to sign and a receipt is automatically e-​mailed to you. I thought this was amazing considering I didn’t provide my e-​mail address to them but I guess it was already linked to my account. I will be returning here for future oil changes :) bye Jiffy Lube!
