Merridith Robertson Photography

When I was pregnant, I was interested in getting some maternity photos done. I didn’t feel that great about myself, being a lot larger than I was used to, but I knew I’d want pictures to remember it one day. I contacted Merridith about it and she was awesome from start to finish! She was really flexible with my fiancé’s work schedule and really helpful about finding a great place to take the photos. She made us feel super comfortable, which is so important since my fiancé and I are incredibly awkward. My fiancé absolutely hates getting his picture taken, so the fact that Merridith could help bring out his real smile and capture those moments was truly amazing! Our pictures turned out great and I am forever thankful to have these memories forever thanks to her! I would highly recommend her (and honestly already have) to friends and family looking for an easy going experience to capture your important life moments!

What can I say about Merridith Robertson Photography but AMAZING! I asked Merridith to do my son’s Senior pictures and with that came a tall order. I decided since my son was closing one chapter in his life, I wanted not only pictures of just him but I wanted to make it bigger and more memorable. I asked her if she would be able to do some family shots for us as well, his brother and him, and us all together etc… than it became bigger, I wanted to include his father, step mom and their son. I felt that this would be a great memory for my us and my son to have. So we had 4 adults 3 kids and of course we had to include the 2 dogs!
We chose Sycamore Grove, and I had all these shots planned in my head. and my expectations were blown away! Merridith did a wonderful job capturing some very special moments between our family & these memories we will have forever. Merridith was very patient with all of us, the dogs, the different shots we tried to do, as well as the clothing changes! She was professional and helpful, gave great suggestions and wonderful and fun to work with.
When I saw all the photo’s I was so blown away it was hard for my to choose a photo to send out for my sons grad announcements, as well when we planned his graduation party I decided to showcase the whole portrait session on a poster I had printed up, because I could not just choose some.
Merridith also took some actions pictures of my youngest son playing baseball, it is really nice to have someone else to take pictures of your child when most of the time I am wanting to watch and miss the shots! Merri walked around the game, and was able to get some great action shots of him hitting, pitching, and field time. It’s wonderful to have captured these memories, and I was very happy to see these shots!
I will and have highly recommended Merridith to shoot photos, and am looking forward to having her do my sons 8^th grade promotion pics as well as she will be doing his Senior Pics when that time comes! We couldn’t have be more pleased!

I contacted Merridith for Boudoir photos to surprise my husband for our anniversary. Looking into other options, I was really nervous about taking Boudoir pics and uneasy about going to into a foreign studio, so I loved the fact that she suggested I choose a location which made me comfortable. What could be more comfortable than your own home?! Merridith was so personable and encouraging throughout the entire process that it turned out to be a blast and I wasn’t nervous at all! The return on the pictures was extremely timely, and the results were totally unexpected. Merridith truly has a unique eye for capturing those perfect moments and bringing them to life. Needless to say, my husband LOVED my anniversary gift :) I’m definitely going to schedule another session with Merridith!

Merridith is a professional and down to earth photographer! She is so versatile! She took our engagement photos and also did a Boudoir photo shoot for me, which my new hubby was very pleased with as one of his wedding gifts :)
Prior to Merridith, I had gone to a way overpriced studio that charged me and arm and a leg, and I wasn’t pleased with the images. It is so much nicer to have her add her own artistic touch whether its a rustic location in the country (where we did our engagement shots) or in the comfort of my own home (my Boudoir shoot). I definitely plan on using her for our pregnancy and newborn shots when the time comes. I highly recommend Merridith!

So happy with the pictures!!! We used her for our maternity pictures and a series of newborn /​infant shots. We talked to her about our style and she suggested some locations for our photo shoot. The pictures came out perfect and truly represent us. We’re thrilled to have these special times in our life captured in such beautiful images. Would highly recommend Merridith. Merridith took portraits of me and my pets, a very large horse and a very small dog. They were for my holiday cards (and some just for fun), so I was very picky about what they were going to look like. I could not have been more pleased! She is so fun to work with, but extremely professional. You can tell how much she loves photography, and she has a great eye!
I have continued to follow her career via her blog/​website, and have been able to see the beautiful newborn portraits she has taken for some very lucky new parents. Maybe some day she can do those for me, too :) (not any time soon, though! haha)
