Right at Home is a licensed personal care agency specializing in in-home care for seniors and disabled adults who want to continue to live independently. Our professional staff of caregivers are available to provide care and assistance to your loved one, and we will customize our care services to fit their needs. We provide care for as little as one hour per visit up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
History
Established in 1995.
Allen Hager founded Right at Home after spending nearly a decade in
hospital administration. While in the hospital environment, he watched
many patients — especially seniors — leave the facility and return home, but
not necessarily return to health. Once home, many of his former patients
were unable to care for themselves. Allen knew that with a little help, most
of these people could lead healthy, happy lives in their own homes. But
he also knew that there were very few companies that offered this kind of
assistance.
Before he considered opening an in-home care business, he talked to
dozens of families to understand the different kinds of challenges they
faced and what kind of care would be most helpful. He also became a
Certified Nursing Assistant to experience first-hand the needs of people
who were still living in their home but who needed professional assistance.

Business Owner
John Clauser grew up in the Pleasanton, California. He temporarily moved away while attending the University of the Pacific, where he studied business administration with an emphasis in marketing. Once out of school, Clauser and a cluster of friends decided to start their own company — a boutique marketing agency — with a unique model. The agency focused on partnering for-profit companies with nonprofit entities. With an understanding that broadcast media outlets allocate a certain number of on-air minutes to free marketing for nonprofits, the agency put together a business model that partnered businesses with nonprofits for a mutually beneficial advertising relationship and an added benefit of helping out the community. Because the agency was located in Stockton, Calif. — the city that notoriously filed for bankruptcy in May 2013 — the community development component was a point of pride for Clauser. «We did what we could to give people pride in S
