Since 1996 Timothy James has been magically transforming ordinary events into unforgettable experiences.

He’s performed for fortune 500 companies, cruise ships, comedy clubs and performing art centers across the country. He’s also entertained celebrities such as Oscar winning actress Geena Davis, movie star Shia LeBeof, Journey Bass Guitarist Ross Valory, and the Oakland A’s.

He’s the winner of numerous awards for sleight of hand and variety entertainment including the Lance Burton Award of Excellence from the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas.

When he’s not traveling or performing, he is creating new illusions and routines focusing on sleight of hand, comedy, and audience participation.

An A+++ experience! Tim performed for my husband’s 70^th birthday party last night and he was perfect from start to finish! A pleasure to deal with while making the initial arrangements (we finally settled on the strolling magician act), punctual in his arrival, and, most importantly, the hit of the evening for us and all our guests. He performed sleight of hand tricks, card tricks, and other amazing tricks for our 60 guests and had all of us transfixed. Friendly and engaging, our guests said he was an «inspired addition» to the party. There were a few young children among our guests and he included them in his show as well. Tim was fabulous! Can’t recommend him highly enough! A pleasure to deal with and a wonderful entertainer.

Timothy James has preformed at our Lodge’s Christmas party for a number of years. He is always great! He is friendly and funny. He interacts with the guests doing card tricks, then performs for the kids. His magic is amazing! He entertains the kids, while making the adults laugh! I invite friends every year whose kids just want to come and see his act again! Rocky the Raccoon is always a big hit. It is great to watch him entertain the kids –but still astound the adults. I would highly recommend him, not only for kids, but for adult parties too! I hope to talk my work into having him at our next work party.

I called Timothy for my kids first Birthday and should say that I did no mistake.
Timothy was amazing. He was goods with the kids as well as adults and catered to crowd of all age group. He showed us some card tricks and word games which suited well to the adult crowd.
He also shown one trick in which he bent a metal spoon with signals from his hand w/o touching the spoon. This trick surprised everyone and we were not able to believe what we could right in front of us.
Very good experience for a reasonable price.

Look no further … The Magic of Timothy James marveled us all !!! He and his other illusionist partner Alvin Lui dazzled and amazed us with their show «Before Your Eyes» … We had a house full of kids and adults and we ALL loved the show !
The duo really has a great chemistry and makes you laugh along the way.
I would highly recommend Timothy for any event or party … I give Tim 5 stars and can’t wait to see another show soon !!!

I have had the pleasure of watching Tim perform at the California Magic Dinner theater in Martinez, a private party and a charity event as well! He is nothing short of spectacular! He is an entertainer through and through and you can tell that he takes great pride in his craft. Every time I’ve seen him perform, he is courteous, professional, and above all — entertaining! His illusions will leave you speechless. (I know I’ve been!) But be warned — Tim is not a children’s magician. He doesn’t utilize any silly gags and clown outfits. His type of magic is specifically for adults and you’ll be amazed at how amazed you’ll be. Lol! If you check out his website, he’s got some video and photos of his performances.
A tip from one intelligent person to the next: don’t feel bad. you’ll never figure out how it works. Just enjoy the mystery and try not to lose sleep over it. ;)
