Best mechanic I have ever been to. I had a long standing check engine light on that 3 other mechanics could not figure out. After very thorough diagnostic thia place solved my issue. These guys were patient, knowledgable and super trustworthy. I will absolutely bring my car back to them even though it is now 25 miles away from my house. I can not express my gratitude enough for the superb service I recieved here.

The customer service and trust part of the business left. I would not bring my car here now.

As a first time customer, I was impressed by the clean shop, helpful adviser Leo and knowledgeable mechanic Kevin. Not only did they take care of my transmission maintenance, but the mechanic listened, confirmed and resolved an alignment issue that my dealer was unable to.

I have been taking my cars and trucks to Tire Mart for 10+ years. The first words that come to mind in dealing with them is honest, great customer service and quality work. They are always very accommodating and detail oriented when it comes to servicing and repairing our vehicles. The location is great and works well with free WIFI so that I can get work done while I wait for my repairs. Highly recommend them as a vendor.

I’ve been going to Tire Mart for over 10 years, and have had nothing but the best service from Chris, Kevin and everyone else! They have always been honest with me! They also work with me on what the priorities are on my car! I highly recommend them!

Chris makes this place amazing. I started coming here in 2008 when it was at the other end of downtown. I kept coming back because immediately Chris remembered my name, my cars, and he was fair and open with what I’d be paying and why. Just went back and had a great experience with his brother, Kevin as well. I was apprehensive about going in when Chris wasn’t around, but Kevin came right out of the garage, took a look under the hood, and told me exactly what the issue was.

I expect 5 Star Skill, but Service isn’t something that you find in many establishments anymore.

They change my brakes a year ago + alignment than the guy from the front desk Cris said that my car it’s still gonna pull right unless I change some pice that it’s related with direction and I ask him how much is gonna be the cost he said 450 $ so I decided not to fix it at that time .a year later I toke my car to them to the alignment again after the alignment was done the car was pulling again so I decided to change my tires with brand new once and I call them to let them know I replace the tires and I am gonna bring the car in on a Thursday to do the alignment again, I drove all the way from Fremont than when I get there they didn’t have nobody to do my alignment saying that the guy called in sick, so I went back on Saturday and did the alignment again and guess what that pice that the guys at the front desk was talking about I never replace it because was nothing wrong with it but because they did not do my alignment correctly 1 year ago that cause a wear on my tires to the edge so I had to buy new tires after 20000miles .They are polite but that doesn’t cut it when they don’t. Do the job right in the first place

I’ve used ALOT of mechanics in livermore in the 18 years I’ve lived here, and these guys are, hands down, the best! Fast, look-​you-​in-​the-​eye honest, negotiable on repairs. I took my older car in for a general check up ahead of a significant cross-​country journey. Big, $ 1500 question was whether it needed a timing belt or not. They were neutral parties on this: ‘if you’ve had one done w/​i the last 100K miles, then there;s no need; otherwise: you should do it.” I had it done, along with several other recommended pre-​trip fixes. They were friendly, informative, fixed a part that wasn’t on their estimate for free that they discovered while in the midst of the repair. I’ve found our consistent Livermore auto mechanic!

I absolutely hate anything to do with car repairs; I get anxiety just thinking about it, but I have an old Jeep Cherokee that I can’t seem to let go of, so car repairs are pretty much a given. I was referred to these guys and they’ve done a ton of work on my Jeep (rebuild engine, brakes, tires, tune-​up, oil changes, battery replacement, and window motor replacement, to name a few…). They are friendly, their service is fast, and most importantly I trust them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good honest mechanic.

We’re not your average patron, we have 9 vehicles at GENTEC Services that are serviced by Tire Mart. When our vehicles «breakdown» it means lost revenue and opportunities for BAD customer service. thats NOT acceptable here at GENTEC, when we call Tire Mart they «jump through hoops» for us, which means we can get back on the road and keep our clients happy.
Whats more important than making availability is the fact that they bend over backwards when there is a warranty issue, they back up their work 110%. We’re a fan, we rely on them to keep our fleet up and running.
We are now on a preventative maintenance program with them trying to take care of issues before the cost us money.

I took our car to Tire Mart to fix a leaking oil pan. So I thought since two other places said it was the oil pan. 5 quarts in 2 – 3 months.
We recently had our transmission replaced and it turned out to be the rear engine seal. Both Chris and Leo were great to talk to, explained what was found and best of all. didn’t charge for the diagnostic.
We ended up taking our place back to the transmission shop next door and they are kindly working with us to fix the issue. (Rear engine seal was not touched during the transmission service)
Based on the customer service and honesty I would return to have my car serviced here.

My family has taken their cars here for years. I was skeptical for a long time, if I went in with my dad or a boyfriend to discuss MY car, they always directed the conversation to the male with me, even though I was the car owner and the person paying for the service and the person answering their questions. Honestly, their customer service kinda sucks (but hey, it’s like that with most mechanics). BUT they have always been so very honest which is a rare quality in mechanics! I spent a lot of money having a number of tuneups and repairs done to my car. A while later, I had squeeky noises and squealing coming from my car when it started. They looked at it and decided either the belt was put on wrong or it was poorly manufactured, and they quickly replaced it completely free of charge.
Any time we’ve had problems after a repair was done, they have checked the car and done any additional repairs needed, either extra cheap or free of charge. Whenever I’ve taken my car elsewhere, the price is so outrageous and the diagnosis is usually questionable, I just end up back at tire mart, where I know they stand by their work (and it’s always been cheaper than the other places). I tried to dislike them, I really did, but I can’t argue with honesty, reliability, and fair prices.

I am so pleased with the service I received today. Fair, balanced, and honest. Not only did they fix my problem, they itemized a list of things that I may need done in the future. Also, a new radiator was installed in a few hours, at a reasonable price. I not only recommend this spot, but i can guarantee that I will be a repeat customer.

It cost me a bank-​breaking $ 1,325.73 to fix the laundry list of things wrong with my car. They specifically told me the pistons and cylinders needed work being as 3 out 4 of them were actually running (so they said). They said they needed to replace the air filter cover and a couple hoses as well. Along with everything else (like I said, there was a whole bunch of problems) the cost, as i said was $ 1,325.73. I had to borrow the bulk of that money to pay these guys since I don’t make that much money.
Twelve hours later, my check engine light comes back on and does not turn off. Days later, my car stalls while I have it warming up before I go anywhere. I take it to another mechanic in Livermore and they’re telling me that a bunch of hoses need to be replaced and some of the pistons are not running properly. Did I mention that my car stalled 3 times and the check engine light started blinking on the way to this other mechanic? I live just across town, too.
I’m never, ever going back to Tiremart. I was told I should take my car back to them and have them fix what they messed up, but why would I take my car back to the same place that ruined it? No, thank you. I have never felt more taken advantage of by a so-​called business than when these guys put their hands on my car.
Now I have to pay another $ 730 that I don’t have to fix Tiremart’s mistakes. These guys are the worst.

I will never take my car to that place again. Some time ago the air ride suspension system in my audi got broken down. My car front suspension dropped down and didn’t want to get lifted up. A person from this shop (Chris) told me that it’s shocks and alignment.
I left my car on the shop’s premises according to the advice of the mechanic (Chris) for about 4 days, as I didn’t have anybody to pick me up and had to wait to order parts for my car. I was informed that total cost of the repairs was going to be around 1500 $, labor included. I was assured that it was going to be fine.
After I got back to pick it up, I found my car with A HUGE crack in the windshield. I reported that immediately and heard in response that it must have been my fault because I am so tall (I am 6’5″)…
I left Tire Mart speechless and devastated. I went to the other shop, and it turned out after computer diagnosis that the only thing to be replaced is the ECU for the Air Ride Suspension. I was also informed that previous shop (Tire Mart) didn’t perform a computer diagnosis, meaning that their judgment was based only by their eye-​sight, and I had been assured at Tire Mart that they would do so.
Total cost of repairs closed at 550 $.
If You love your car and want to avoid huge disappointment, save your money and just go somewhere else. They only know how to change the engine oil, if that.

I have been taking my car here for over 20 years, as well as all my immediate family! They are really the best mechanic shop on the planet. I had a car breakdown about an hour past Jackson on my way up to Tahoe and I had it towed all the way back to Tire Mart, just so they could work on it. I would never trust my car to anyone else.

I’ve always heard from locals that Tire Mart has the best service in the Tri-​Valley. After taking 2 of our cars there for the past 3 years, I found this to be very true. They do the right repairs, for the right price. Talk to Juan at Tire Mart – he’s my favorite mechanic because he’s knowlegeable, hard working and honest. Highly recommended!

We didn’t even buy anything but stopped by as we had troubles with our rental car: Kevin from the shop was incredibly helpful, he helped us change a fuze and didn’t even charge us anything! so i definitely have to recommend and say thank you! It saved our day!
