I always take my cars to Hiram’s. George is a really nice guy behind the counter and seems to always be in a good mood. Sometimes I just drop the car off after hours and put the key in the slot. They’ll call with an estimate or issues and can do anything tire related the same day. Costs are pretty average for the area and are definitely fair, if you know what you’re getting into you’ll know what to expect (cars are sometimes not cheap to fix). I know people say that you have to be careful not to get ripped off by a mechanic, and Hiram’s definitely is a safe place to go!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. My boyfriend has brought his vehicle here several times in 2013 to 2014. Every three months there is something else wrong with it and their charges are ludicrous considering. Do not waste your money. Find a competent mechanic or you’ll be in our current situation, without a vehicle and we we’re supposed to be in Potsdam an hour and a half ago. Thanks Hiram’s. I’ll be sure to tell everyone in Syracuse Liverpool area how wonderful you are… NOT.

Angelo and his team do a great job. I have taken my car here a number of time and received great service. Went to a different place because my air conditioning wasn’t working and they told me it would cost $ 800 to replace the system on a 7 year old car. Went to Hirams and they told me the fluid was low and filled it up for $ 40. Can’t complain!
