Fresh delicious food served in a friendly luncheonette. Adorable outside seating. Nice portions. Parking on side of restaurant. Owners will adapt to specialize your order.

Seymour’s is just awesome. I called them twice in the last week to fulfill large Shiva Platter orders and deliveries. They went above and beyond to make these platters beautiful and they ensured that they were delivered in a timely fashion. They even included a card for the family. They were easy to work with and had great suggestions. I am unfamiliar with Shiva and so they made sure that what I ordered was appropriate and sized correctly to fit the family’s needs. I am located in Los Angeles and they in New Jersey — but they made everything go smoothly. I would definitely recommend giving this deli and bakery your business. Good people, good service, great food. Mensches across the board. Thank you, all!

They have great coffee selection and plenty to choose from! This is my second visit. First time I came in the morning and had the avocado omelette; simply amazing! Second time I came with my wife and kids, the place was super busy the staff greeted and acknowledged us with a warm welcome. My wife had their famous Seymour salad with skinny tuna, I had their delicious homemade hamburger with French fries. On the way out the owners«twin brother» gave my little ones free cookies… Thank you and will be back again

Everything bagel was as dense as regular bread and had no flavor despite visible toppings. Cream cheese was bland and they barely put enough on for one half, let alone two. I don’t know where the people who wrote these high reviews went, because I certainly didn’t eat at the same place.

Quality Food. Poor Communication. :( I wish I could give Seymour’s 5 stars because I truly enjoy their food, however as many times I’ve had an enjoyable experiences– I’ve had an equal amount of discouraging experiences. The main problem here is ordering. I’m not sure if it’s the people at the register or the cooks in the kitchen. Somewhere along the lines… The orders are made incorrectly.(This has not happened every time I’ve ordered, but definitely at least half of the time) Most times this occurs on delivery, but twice I’ve had my orders brought out at Seymour’s with some sort of blunder. Missing something, hot when supposed to be cold, etc. It’s easier to deal with the mistakes when you dine in, but when you order it can become a problem because you have to wait twice as long for the correct food.(Assuming the driver will bring it back correctly-which they usually do) SUMMARY: Dine in — don’t get delivery and hope Seymour’s gets your order correct. Hopefully management will see this and make the proper corrections. I would like to come back!

I have seen Seymour’s go from wonderful to good to poor, and then very poor. HOWEVER, the new owners have done a terrific job and people(including me) are coming back. The place is clean, the staff very friendly, the food is consistently good to excellent, and priced right. They have wonderful salads, great wraps and specialty sandwiches, and always fresh coffee, with soy milk and almond milk available in addition to the usual milk offerings. Expect all the normal breakfast fare, with outstanding pancakes! My favorites for lunch are the Seymour salad, rueben, outstanding burgers. The owners have added a juice bar and yummy pastries, especially the muffins. This place has come a long way and is now one of my favorites. I’m not alone; the place is often packed which says a lot. I just wish the restaurant were bigger, but maybe that will come in time.

I love this place! Owners are great guys and very nice. It has the charm of the original but updated and very clean. They have a great breakfast menu, but what I really love are their healthy options… Protein shakes and juices as well as delicious salads with your choice of toppings. Definitely worth checking it out. You won’t be disappointed.

I love this place!!! Their Seymour turkey and avocado panini is my favorite. I go on Saturday mornings and their bagel selection is huge, and they are warm and soft and fresh. I’ve never been big on delis but this honestly is my favorite place to grab breakfast or lunch for work. The staff treats you like family and always keeps me coming back. Everything feels so clean, tasty and fresh.

I went today to Seymour’s and to be honest felt as if I had been ripped off. My waitress was friendly and the place is clean. I ordered the Short Hills Steak and Egg Sandwich(no onion), the waitress asked how I would like the steak cooked, which I replied rare. It was about a 15 – 20 minute wait, with 2 other people in the place. The cook told me he had made a mistake with my order and would be a few minutes longer. Ok no biggie is happens. When the sandwich came this was what I got…2 eggs, 1 piece of cheese, 3 steak’um slices and unbuttered toast… no utensils, no chips, no pickle, no cole slaw. These folks have obviously never been to «Short Hills», they would not eat an egg, cheese and nasty steak’um sandwich and pay that price. There are many places in the area for great food, unfortunately this place is not worth the plastic plates they serve on. I put pricey as a range only because I have never paid over $ 10 for a egg sandwich and soda?

Ordered in the am for lunch pick up, and it was hot and fresh right on time. The French fries were gloriously crunchy, and the two Paninis my coworker and I each got were both huge and delicious. Mine easily stretched to two days! The staff was extremely friendly and efficient, and I was very happy with the way the order was packed including all the utensils, etc that they included. I will absolutely be ordering lunch from them again soon!

I stopped in on my way to work to grab a bagel. I was amazed to see the food selection they have on their menu. Burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, prepared foods, smoothies, juice bar basically anything you could want. The service is A1, and the friendly prompt attention is awesome. You really feel that your business is appreciated. Did I say the bagels are great? I will be back soon to try the Acai smoothie, it sounds yummy.

I came here for brunch on a Sunday morning. There was only one other table and the service was very slow. The staff was extremely friendly, but the long wait causes me concern for if/when I return. The food was okay. I ordered an egg wrap and it cost me about $ 7. This price is comparable to a diner, but a diner includes unlimited coffee and a side of hash browns. At Seymour’s, I got nothing extra for my $ 7. I also found the wrap to be mediocre. I needed to add salt and pepper for some extra flavor. If they want to offer some serious competition to the diner and Livingston Bagel, they need to include more with their dishes or drop the prices. If nothing changes, I’ll be patronizing the diner where I’ll get more for my money and a more flavorful wrap.

My husband and I stopped here now called Seymors like before and the salads we had were amazing! I had the Seymors salad w grilled chicken and my husband had the Asian salad(I think that’s what it was called) with grilled chicken as well! 2 huge salads, 2 drinks and banana chips all for under 25.00!!! This price to me is a great deal and tastes as good as a 17.00 salad you would eat at sweet basil or livingston bagel… nice employees and very casual environment !! Bravo!

I’m sorry to say that I was not a fan. We stopped by for a quick bite but ended up waiting 20 minutes for our sandwiches. The owner/or store manager did apologize for it as we were leaving and you can tell the shop is run by truly genuine/kind /hardworking people, but the sandwiches themselves weren’t all that tasty either.
