History

Established in 2014.

NetPrezence is a young and burgeoning company. Although I’ve had over a decade working in the information technology department in corporate America, it wasn’t until recently that I decided that not enough people were marketing their websites properly.

Having a keen interest in WordPress design as well as e-​commerce, I’ve developed dozens of websites over the years as a freelance designer — from personal blogs to major firms.

What I noticed, however, is that even companies who claimed to specialize in «search engine optimization» were not properly marketing their product. I finally decided to make the leap in late 2013, and formed NetPrezence LLC in 2014.

We are now accredited with the Better Business Bureau, and are setting the trend in the arena of search marketing!

Meet the Business Owner

I was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan, USA, where I was an odd combination of a nerd + jock. I was eventually recruited to play collegiate hockey, and did so at Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York.

I graduated from Cornell in 1997 with a degree in Managerial Economics. Upon graduating, I worked a couple odd jobs before finally settling back in Detroit, working for Ford Motor Company (and their various subsidiaries).

I began working for Ford as a technical writer, and was eventually moved over to the marketing department. I then became the lead architect of Ford Motor Company Chassis Division’s intranet.

While at Ford, I was allowed a course every 6 months, and I took advantage of this benefit. I became quite interested in Search Engine Optimization quickly, and when WordPress came aboard, I became an immediate fanatic.

I’ve never stopped learning, as the goal posts for search marketing continue to evolve, and WordPress continues to improve. That’s my history!
