History

Established in 2010.

Immediately after graduating from Law School and passing the Michigan Bar Exam, The Law Office of Brian J. Prain was born. Always a champion for the underdog, Brian quickly focused his entire practice on Criminal Defense and dedicated his life to winning NOT GUILTY verdicts for his clients accused of crimes with an element of Assault, including Assault, Assault and Battery, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault (Criminal Sexual Conduct), Child Abuse, and Resisting and Obstructing Police. Brian has won amazing NOT GUILTY verdicts in tough cases against all odds. Since then, Brian has been invited back to his law school to speak annually.

Business Owner

Brian J. Prain was born and raised in the metro Detroit area. As a child, Brian excelled in academics and art, winning numerous art awards. As a martial arts student, Brian became the youngest blackbelt in his association at the time and excelled as a tournament fighter. Brian earned his BA from Michigan State University in Political Science and his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. During law school, Brian worked as a student attorney with the Public Defender’s Office in Washtenaw County and as a law clerk for a private firm. Knowing he wanted complete independence, Brian established The Law Office of Brian J. Prain, PLLC in 2010. Brian wasted no time immersing himself in Jury Trials, teaching himself to try cases. In 2013, Brian was one of 55 people selected to attend the famed Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College. Even when he’s not in Court or in the office, Brian’s free time is spent as a student of trial technique and advocacy.
