History

Established in 2012.

Located on Deal Lake between Allenhurst and Asbury Park, Loch Arbour was part of Ocean Township until 1957. At only two blocks wide and five blocks long, Loch Arbour is the smallest town in Monmouth County, and the only «village». The name «Loch Arbour» comes from «Loch» meaning «Lake» and «Arbour» meaning «Trees». This is a fitting name for this tiny town on Deal Lake — it’s streets are lined with beautiful trees and majestic beach houses.
