History

Established in 2003.

In April of 2003, Donna and Ken Thomas, along with their children, Kenny, Mikey and Jennifer (hence the name Donkey J’s) opened a hole in the wall deli and ice cream shop. In February 2013, the business moved into the Payless Market/​True Value shopping center. Donna, Ken and Kenny have 95 years of combined foodservice experience. Donkey J’s has a variety of food and drinks, just about something for everyone. Sandwiches– hot and cold, salads, wraps, hotdogs, soups, coffees– mochas and lattes– hot, iced & blended, smoothies, milkshakes, sundaes, $ 1 ice cream scoops, brownies, cake, cookies. We also do catering & party trays. We recently started serving breakfast. Brands that we serve– Hormel All Natural Meats, Max’s Artisan Breads, The Pie Company Pies, Blue Bunny & Thrifty’s ice cream.
