Great customer service and the staff was extremely helpful not to mention very knowledgeable in their profession my wife and i went to several other places before coming to Bens and the prices here were a lot cheaper for the same if not better quality of appliances i will definitely return here and recommend all my family and friends there.

I recently purchased an insert for my home at Ben’s appliances. The salesman, Rob was very helpful and knowledgeable. Dena and Rob helped me fill out the San Joaquin Air Polution District form for a rebate. I purchased it on 10−14−15, it was installed on 10−28−15. Very happy with, and enjoying my insert. Would definitely recommend Ben’s Appliances for any appliance need you may have!

Horrible customer service! Ordered a gas insert fireplace May 22^nd 2015 and dealt with weeks and weeks of delay without return phone calls. Sales Guy Rob was never available and always had a different story. When it finally arrived today the item was a two year old model and items were missing. The safety screen! They tried to tell us we didn’t need it! Met with Sales Manager David today to express our frustration. He says he will talk to owner John Osbourne and make it right today. They’ve got one chance to make this mess right or we are returning the item and taking our business elsewhere. For good.

Soon after we pulled our permit for our new home, we began receiving postcards from Ben’s. we were skeptical. After we narrowed down the appliances we wanted, we decided to have them give us a bid. They were several thousand dollars less expensive than the next lowest bid for the five appliances that we wanted. We ordered our appliances, then our house took longer than we anticipated. We picked up our appliances today, nearly ten months after we ordered them. They kept them for us with no problems and helped us to load them in to he trailer. We received great service from our salesman, John, and would recommend Ben’s especially if you know what you want and are looking for a great price.

We went in 99% sure we were going to buy a new fireplace until we started dealing with the worst salesman in history. We walked out and went and bought one in Elk Grove the same day. Terrible experience. Period.

I’ve ordered from Ben’s in the past and got great customer service. They had a skeleton crew working, took some time to get back to me but loved my dishwasher!
Prices are good. They used to work a package deal if you need a couple pieces or more.
Give them a shot!

These guys are sloppy. Going after public records and trying to sell using cold calls. Would never buy from this company, EVER.

On Nov. 19 we visited the showroom to purchase a range and dishwasher. Our salesman John was helpful and we paid for our products with our credit card in full.
He advised that in 1 – 1.5 weeks (because of Thanksgiving) we would receive a call as to when we would like delivery of our items. After 2 full weeks and not hearing from them we had to call to see when they were planning to schedule the deilvery. Only after we made that call did they inform us that the items were on backorder.
After another week of waiting and no further response or update on the status of our order we called again. They informed us they were in transit. Then we called in the middle of that week and they were «at the dock». Then they «can’t deliver them because their truck driver is sick», then he was «in the bay area», then the «dishwasher isn’t available becasue it hasn’t been unloaded yet». Its just been the run-​around with these people.
We have offered to go to whatever warehouse they are sitting in and pick them up ourselves but the lady– Diane said she would call back when they were available. No calls have been made to us from Diane.
Now we are at the close of another full week and 19 FULL BUSINESS DAYS from the date of purchase and we STILL do not have the products we paid for.
This company shows no willingness to «make it right» and no sense of urgency to get the issue resolves (they do not return phone calls, do not call back when they actually say they will, and don’t even answer the phone during their stated business hours – We can not get a hold of ANYONE to check the status)
We are completely dissatisfied with this company and have seems like Jean M’s review is very similar with the customer service issues and lack of willingness to fix issues.
We will NOT be doing business with Ben’s EVER. again.

This is where you should go to check out high end appliances within the Stockton/​Modesto/​Lodi area. This way you won’t have to travel far distances to find the model of Miele or Bosch appliances for your home. I would suggest to visit the showroom first to check out a few models. Make certain to ask plenty of questions and follow up with your sales person to finalize your purchase. It took about 4 phone calls to finally get our sales associate to call us back.
