Flag City RV Resort

Though it’s been awhile since we stayed at this park, things haven’t changed much. It is still a very nice place to stop on our north/​south travels. Level, long concrete pads are a plus, but hook-​ups are located towards the very rear of the site. We have to park the dinghy in front of the coach to access them. The poor choice of groundcover between the sites is not intended to be walked on and usually looks pretty bad. With Ca’s drought conditions it hasn’t been watered and looks even worse. This park would really sparkle if they used artificial turf. Passport America is honored at the times we usually visit. Lots of fast food choices at the truck stop complex nearby. All services a little further east in Lodi.

Pros: our site was pretty level, good 50 amp service, trash pick up in the morning
Cons: Very weedy, the plant area in-​between each site is loaded with weeds. Seriously no wifi service, the paperwork you are provided upon checkin says to step outside your rig if you can not connect, then if you still can not connect go to the office to connect. I could not connect in, out or in the office. If they are going to say they provide wifi service then it should be strong enough to connect, at least at 6:30am. The office staff could use a refresher course in customer service. They are not there to provide information other than where your site is and how to get there. If you ask them anything about the area or about the wifi you are out of luck and met with attitude depending on who you are talking too.
I did not use the pool, spa, bathrooms or laundry so I can not comment on them.

Big parking lot with few trees. This park is mainly for extended stay people and some families. Weeds are getting bad and the wifi is non existent! Advertising they have wifi should state that it is limited to the office area only ! The price is high for what’s here. Can’t say I’ll ever return. Didn’t use the pool or the restroom/​showers. If it’s just an overnight stay, I would continue on to Santa Nella RV park. Less money, their wifi works and the park is just as conveiant!

Stayed here overnight in passing from WA to CA. Nice location, very close to Pilot/Love’s. Wifi was very poor at our site. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We have stayed here on two separate occasions. Large pull through sites, clean and well maintained. Strong 50 Amp service. Nightly fee is higher than most and you can hear some noise coming from the nearby truck stop, but the Resort does offer complimentary hot or cold beverages while the office is open. A safe location to spend the night. We’ll definitely return.

The Park is great. Pool, full hook ups, clean, easy in and out pads. Can you spell GUN CLUB NEXT DOOR! Every 20 seconds a very loud shot of some kind goes off. yes 5:00am they start shootings and you are awaking by this but have no idea who’s shooting at you! The park is nice all amenities but warning would be nice.

This is still a very convenient stop traveling north and south in California, but the facilities are getting run down. The showers have Very limited flow, but still clean. As the options for places to stay are limited, I guess I am leaving this review in hopes the managers will take note.

This RV park is really a huge parking lot with around ten feet of dirt, two trees and «hardy» plants in between each spot. There is a reasonable amount of shade, a pool, a spa and the park is clean. They didn’t ask about a Good Sam’s or AAA discount when we paid, and then she said it was too late to apply it when we asked about it.

What happened to this well kept place? We have been coming here for 8 years and have never seen it this bad, what a dump, weeds in every crack and waist high between sites. Will not be able to recommend this place any longer and may never come back. May as well stay across the street at Flying J for free.

Really big Rv park. Only here for one night. We were like, wow, a pool, hottub, this is nice. I thought, this would be awesome to bring my grandkids. Started to drive to our site, and man do all the sites look overgrown. What look arethey going for??, carved out of the wild?, if so, concrete parking spaces gave it away. While they think the wild look is in, it just looks sloppy and dirty. Pull the weeds next to the nice plants. I don’t think we will be back with the $ 48 a night either. This place felt really dirty. Too may residents and old rigs too. Barking dogs at their sites. Lots of them. I don’t mind the dairy smell. But cats running everywhere and dogs, not appealing. Walked by one ladies site and 3 dogs on an RV deck, she’s squirting them with water to shut them up. Not cool. Way noisy by the freeway.

Perfect stop after a long travel day… Easy check in, great shower/​bathroom, hot water, clean and secure. Wifi was faster than most resorts. Will return when travelling thru.

We stayed at Flag City RV resort back in March of this year. The park is large, clean and well maintained. Check in was easy and quick and the majority of sites are pull thrus that accepted our large RV easily.
Amenities include multiple laundry rooms, pool, bathrooms/​showers, small store in office and large dog park. There is also a club house. Full hook ups. The Wi-​fi was decent… got dropped a few times.
You will get the odor of farm fertilizer waft through the park from time to time… it is near a dairy after all. Also, the dog park is an overflow lake during the winter so watch the corner where the exit drain is… it is a muddy mess… otherwise the dog area is very large.
Laundry rooms were clean and well maintained.
There are a number of fast food restaurants, gas stations and other eateries just down the road within walking distance of the park.
Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

We pulled in, worried what the place would be like in the middle of no where, on our way home. Beautiful place, but… It is now 10:30 at night and there is a party of at least 6 sites and they are yelling and partying. No sign of management anywhere enforcing «quiet time» hours! This is not a «resort», but a stop off for the next place!!! Not impressed!!!

Very nice place to stop for a night or a few days if you are in the area. The restrooms are clean and well taken care of. The laundry facility is good — but you need to buy a card to use it. Thought it was a bit pricey though at $ 48 per night even with a club discount.
They do have an ant problem — the rest rooms in the morning are filled with them, so watch for that. The ants also tend to get into your car — and likely your RV — so make sure you clean everything up around your RV and vehicle at night and before you head out or you will have hitchhikers!

Great place to stay. Only criticism would be the young woman behind desk was a bit surly and not particularly helpful re things to do in the area.

Great easy access park off of Interstate 5. Clean with good pool and hot tub. Will continue to visit when we are in the area!

This is a brand new park right off the I-​5. A perfect way station as you’re traveling down the road. The spaces are large, the bathrooms are immaculate, the people are friendly. Our cable tv connection didn’t work, but I think that was just at our site and we didn’t mind since it gave us a chance to read! The crop duster that started on the grapes across the road at 7AM wasn’t a high point, but that certainly wasn’t the fault of the park. About 5 miles down the road in Lodi is a new shopping area with everything you could possibly want. We camped here for one night in a motor home, and I am sure we will be back the next time we travel the I-​5 up the state. A perfect place to rest for the night.

I wish the pool had been heated and it is right off a busy highway, but I’m giving this RV park five stars anyway because it was so clean, peaceful, and very well maintained. We will stay at this rv park again whenever we’re in the area.

We needed a place to stop while heading up highway 5 and picked Flag City. So glad we did. It is by far one of the cleanest campgrounds we have visited. Sites are separated nicely. Nice size cement pads, picnic table at each site. Each site has full hook-​up and a nice little tree and green ground cover. For this type of campground, it is beautiful. Bathrooms are so clean. There are even several laundry rooms located around the campground. Wifi and cable TV are included. Large pool. Friendly staff. Great place will definitely come back. A great base camp to explore Lodi and the gold country.
