Best gym in the world. Great instructors, big facility and a top of the world mat. We take my kid to the kids class and it’s his favorite part of his day.

Formerly known as Cesar Gracie Jiu Jitsu… Different ownership and great kids instructors. Randy is the primary kids coach and Bob usually instructs on Saturdays. Newly added wrestling for kids overseen by Ivan. All the guys work great with the kids and promote team work and a family atmosphere. Classes and open mat available six days a week. There are opportunities to attend tournaments if interested.

This place is amazing! The instructors and students are all very supportive and want to see you succeed. So a little background on how I started training here: I moved to Lodi in January to start work and I was interested in training ever since but was nervous, understandably so, this is the gym where the Diaz brothers train… Understand, I’m the timid guy who avoids confrontation at all costs, so what in the world am I doing throwing myself into the lion’s den? Week after week I would tell myself, «This Monday, its happening!» I finally mustered up the courage 2 months ago to step in, and now I feel disappointed if I cant make it in to train. Jiu Jitsu is for all people of all ages. Aside from training to fight for MMA, it’s a fun and a challenging workout. You get to learn real self-defense, and more importantly if you are a naturally shy person like myself, it will make you into a more confident person!

Are you the kind of person that spends a LOT of time doing research to make sure you’re getting a great deal? That’s exactly what I do and let me tell you, this place is an absolute GEM. Constantly ranked amongst the TOPMMA Gyms in the entire United States. Not even just NorCal, or Lodi. It’s a place of living legends. Nick and Nate Diaz are reason enough to be here. They don’t just have their names involved, they put in hard work and dedication to this place. It’s not just a McGym, it’s a family of fighters you have to earn your stripes in. Not only do they have the Diaz brothers, but you will constantly see the big dogs coming through here. That means one thing: TOPNOTCHTRAINING. The purple belts and brown belts are some of the best around as well. Always bringing home the gold, they know their stuff and are always willing to work with you if you put in the time and effort. It’s odd anyone would go elsewhere. The prices are cheap, the training is good and the opportunity is limitless. People drive from Sacramento and even San Fransisco to train here on a DAILY basis. I seriously regret every moment I can’t train here. It’s the Harvard of fighting.
