We were looking for a place to hang out on a Saturday night and it was already 10. We stumbled upon this place because everything else was closed. It was very quiet and calm in there, but once the pouring started the party began! Dan poured us quite a few wines (more than 5) and he was very entertaining! While we were enjoying our tastings Dan did a few card tricks for us. The wines were good and we purchased two bottles. I would definitely come back here!

Great music – Spencer & Vogel– ‘it takes a long time to bury a woman alive’ crazy song, good blues! So sad that they dropped the McKay Winery (was the best they had).

This was our first stop for wine-​tasting today and it was fun. I also got a tour of the patio and will return on a cooler day… it was over 100 degrees today so not a day to be sitting outside. We really enjoyed their 9×9 Zin.
Sunday is one of their slower days, but great for us since we were able to sit down and relax and simply enjoy the tasting.

Did you know that Lodi Wine Cellars will allow you to bring in food from the Farmers Market and sit inside (or outside) and enjoy a glass a wine?
Went down to the Farmers Market last week with some friends. As the market was winding down we all decided to grab some food from the local vendors. I mentioned that we should grab a glass of wine after we ate, when they informed me that we could enjoy a glass with our food! Impressive.
We were lucky to arrive before the post-​market crowd which allowed us to snag a little table and four chairs. The wine list is decent and they run great specials on Farmers Market nights. A bottle of 95 240 was only $ 10! Four generously poured glasses of cheap but decent wine for only $ 2.50 each, what a deal!
The atmosphere was great, the pricing and selection were good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will most definitely be back!

I had a great time at Lodi Wine Cellars/Benson’s Ferry last night. I had the Benson’s Ferry Old Vine Zin, and my husband had the 9×9 Old Vine Zin. They had a decent blues duo performing. It was a nice low-​key evening out. We got there too late this time, but if you get there before the Mexican restaraunt next door closes, ask whoever is behind the counter for a menu. They’ll call your order in to the restaraunt and the restaraunt will bring you meal over to the wine bar. The shrimp quesadillos are excellent.
