Stupid me… Brought a car out of the blues without any proper researching at all. Got a great rate at the dealership of 3.59%. I had 5 days to shop around, well I found Mokelumne Federal CU. Krissy at MFCU was able to get me 2.59% & a much lower price on the Gap insurance. Apparently they were running a special that they will beat any rate by 1.00%. Krissy is very nice, helpful.

Really a great group of people. The lady who helped me with my car loan was very knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve never been asked to remove my hat in this credit union which as of recent has become something I look for in a bank. Tellers have a great sense of humor here and I look forward to making my payment in the branch each month.

This bank is so bad. The customer service is horrible. I’ve had my account broken into twice within a year and they always contact me after the money has been taken and shockingly, they can’t do much to help. I would highly discourage banking here. period.

There used to be more good looking women on staff and I wish there were MFCU ATMs outside of Lodi, but I still say five stars for being a no bailout local credit union. Their hours are pretty much the same inconvenient bank hours every other non-​grocery store bank has so I can’t knock them for it.
The service has always been great and responsive. Even back in the days when I used to bring in like $ 200 to $ 300 in tip money singles that the tellers would have to count out, they were cool. I haven’t ever had a random WTF charge other people complain about at their banks.
