My Evil Twin Choppers

I went in to this shop the other day hoping to have some tires put on my machine. I would have done it myself but I didn’t have all the tools for a tire swap. I do now.
The bike I brought in wasn’t a big twin Harley, and it didn’t have flames skulls or excessive amounts of chrome. It’s a ‘81XS Yamaha. The shop was slow there was one guy and his mom in the shop, I told him what I needed and he asked the kind of bike I had, to which he said he ‘would not be interested in helping me’.
Which is fine, I will never be interested in going to this shop again. Little did the owner know that old yamaha is not my only bike, I also own a 76 triumph bonneville and an 79 ironhead, and I have a shovelhead in my sights. All of which need parts and servicing on occasion. Most of the small things I do myself. But any larger costlier repairs would have gone his way along with any parts I may have needed. But he doesn’t seem to be interested unless it’s ordering up you chrome parts.
I will always support the mom and pop shops first, but that doesn’t give you a pass on proper customer service. My Eviltwin, will never get my business.
