I accidentally locked my keys in my husband’s Escalade and was quite upset. I didn’t know how much it was going to cost or how mad my husband was going to be. Thank goodness Paul’s Safe Lock & Key Service is right next door to my new job and so I called him up and asked him to please help me. He came over and within 4 minutes I had my keys back! He hardly charged me anything and I was just happy my husband would no longer be upset and so I happily paid him and gave him a hug! I was so happy since only a few minutes before I was really stressed out about it. He really is a great guy and does a great job! Thank you again Paul! ;)

My key wouldn’t work and I learned that locks can sometimes swell up during the winter time.

Lost my car keys, so I needed a new one made. Was given two different quotes, owner was rude, and they didn’t even have my key. If you’re in lodi and need a locksmith, go to the place on Sacramento street. They were awesome.

Paul was wonderful to work with. He was kind enough to come out on a Sunday morning and change all of the locks on one of our family homes in Lodi; some which we were not able to provide keys for.
He was efficient, polite, professional and reasonable. A tough combination to find in this day and age.
We would HIGHLY recommend Paul for any job that has to do with any aforementioned items he assisted us with.

Yesterday was horrible until Paul came to my rescue. My Suburban was stuck in the Costco parking lot in a handicapped space because the steering wheel jammed and was locked so the key would not turn the ignition. Three different types of tow trucks came and they could not get the truck out of the space.
The last tow truck driver said Paul is your only hope. He is a genius and if anyone can get the ignition unlocked its Paul. He performed magic and got it unlocked. I can never thank him enough.

Paul is awesome. I have dealt with him & his sons for many years. This last time I locked my keys in the car at the car wash. He came to pick me up at a friend’s house. Drove me to the car wash and in a matter of minutes got in & I was on my way. With a discounted rate. WHO DOES THAT? Paul is very AFFORDABLE/​HONEST and gives customer service at it’s finest. He charges half the price of other local Locksmiths and will go the extra mile to help. You can’t ask for anything more!

Paul’s, is a great locksmith. Very professional, knew exactly how to open a large safe for my family after my brothers passing. Good work honest prices. Also had an other service call the week before. I had lost all keys to my Lincoln Navigator. Justin came to my house and made me new chipped security keys in no time at all. The dealer didn’t have the equipment nor the information needed to make these chipped keys. Keep up the good work guys!

I’ve been going to Paul’s lock and key for 15 years.
They’ve fixed locks on my cars, truck, and house. I always thought they were good.
This time I went to get a car door lock fixed and got charged double what everyone else charges. After looking at what he charged for this same repair last time, it was still double from last time.
Never again… You’ve lost my business.

Always went for hard to find keys but the last time he gave me a ration of ****, did make the keys but ground his name off of them then charged me $ 2 more per key than previous. was told to go somewhere else if it was a problem. thanks i will.

I was in a bit of a fix. I had bent my key and had know idea what to do. I knew most business would be closed being it was 6:00 in the evening. I called Paul he was closed but he met me at his office and made two keys. He followed me back to my job where my car was, too make sure the key worked. He really helped when I was in a jam. Because I commute too work, and do not live here in town, this was a huge blessing. Thank you Paul !!!

Fairly quick service… people were a bit crotchety but in a «next door neighbor» sort of way. Not the most efficient group I’ve seen but looked like they were working with 1985 technology. Good place to get specialty keys made…

What a great local business! I went in here and they were super nice. They were fast on there work and added in extras for free! There place was a bit dirty but I don’t mind it if the service is great which indeed it was! And they deal firearms too which i didn’t know about. Awesome place

Local business that gives extra service. You just don’t get that anymore. Recently bought firearms painlessly and a safe as well. I won’t go anywhere else. You’ll spend more time in Paul’s shop looking at all the antiques and treasures stuffed in every corner. Overall great experience. Paul and his whole crew are a reality TV show waiting to happen too!

Paul is the owner of this business and he reminds me of my «no nonsense Grandpa». He is gruff, hard of hearing, works his business when he feels like it and is lacking in «people skills». I used him, since he is an FFL firearms dealer, to handle a purchase transfer from out-​of-​state. He is the cheapest around, but you do have to take a bit of crap from him, i.e. the firearms guy «only comes in once a week or so», and «people might not be there so… call before you come.» Yeah… so consistancy is not a strong point either. Also he forgets how much he charges or quotes you. Not a good sign either…
His shop is beyond untidy, messy, or catastrophic. Filthy might be a better start…
Better steer clear of this bozo.
