Advertised a $ 40 «most vehicles» and I was charged $ 93 for an 09 Chevy Tahoe. Asked about the $ 40 price and was told that was just a special and they don’t have it anymore. Unclear on their Facebook page because their posted prices do not state special nor do they have an expiration date posted. Find it hard to believe that my car doesn’t fall under most vehicles and that if it did, it more than doubles the advertised price.

Scam scam scam tell everyone you know to not get smoked or an oil change here they advertise one price but it ends up being way more there is way better places to get an oil changer when we got there and asked how much for an oil change? The fat owner said 29.99 then when he made our receipt it stated the parts for an oil change are 19.99 plus labor 29.99 certificate 8.25= 54.58 ??? It doesn’t make sense Wtf but there like Indian/​middle Eastern what can u expect!

They did not do a visual inspection on our family vehicle, they ran the smog despite there being a check engine light on, they just wanted to get their money which by the way is $ 78 for a smog? what a rip off!
I just want to let people know that there are other more honest smog places in lodi and this is NOT one of them.

Well, I am going to climb on a soapbox real quick… hope you all hear me and don’t make my mistake !!! I had to smog my volvo, I took it to Tokay Shell on Kettleman lane. I don’t usually go there, but I did this time. they charged me a total of 95.00 !!! So, i get to work yesterday and call around for prices: Abbetter smog is 78.00, MD smog is 63.25, and Express smog is 67.25. I got hosed!!! so I called Tokay and asked them what there price was and they said 83.00. so why did they charge me 95? I called and asked them why they charged me so much when they quoted 83.00…they said that was a car quote and becuase I have an SUV it is more. Don’t smog your vehicle at Tokay Shell !!! It is a rip-​off!
