This is my favorite place to stay in Logan. Quiet, yet not too far off the beaten trail. Comfy beds, warm clean rooms, and best tv setup ever.

The nice things about a chain is consistency. For the most part, you know what to expect. There is no exception here. The govt rate room I got was smaller than other Hampton Inn’s I’ve been at but certainly comfy for 1 person. Breakfast was the usual breakfast spread but a little different. The scrambled eggs has a strange dense consistency instead of soft and fluffy. I liked the sausage link slices instead of the usual small breakfast links or patties.

The staff weren’t outright rude. That’s the best I can say about them. The room was incredibly small. The one queen size bed took up most of the space. The only chair was a desk chair along with the requisite narrow table just big enough for a laptop. Crammed into one corner was a freestanding wardrobe because there was no built-in ‘closet’ like in most hotels. The wardrobe was not big enough to open the suitcase stand inside it. There was no fridge and the coffee pot sat on a corner of the bathroom vanity. When I opened the foil packet of coffee, the smell was overpowering. At some point, water had gotten into it and soaked the coffee bag. Not surprising if it’s being kept in a wire basket on the bathroom counter. There is only a shower, no tub. And the shower only had one small corner shelf that was cupped to hold a bar of soap meaning that any shampoo and conditioner bottles had to be placed on the floor of the shower. Probably not a huge problem for a lot of people, but for those of us who have passed our 50th birthday, bending all the way over to retrieve a small container from the floor is not only inconvenient but potentially dangerous. The a/c unit was so loud, I ultimately had to turn it off and deal with the room being too warm. Since the unit was on when I arrived, it’s clear the maid staff turned it on and were aware of how loud it was which makes me think they are all that loud. Last, but not least, the amount and combination of fragrances from towels and sheets and presumably room and/or carpet ‘freshener’ were overwhelming. Not only was the perfume smell unpleasant, it actually caused a headache. The room was clean. That’s the only good thing I can say about the place.

Nice hampton inn. Nothing to rave about however. Ease of access: Easy. Right off a major street. Front desk help: Nice, professional. Fitness center: decent. Pool: Clean. Not directly connected to a room. Which is nice to keep the noise level down. The room itself: Clean. Some what modern furniture. The Bed is comfortable clean linens. T.V. set up is nice. Direct t.v. with the hbo, cinnemax, showtime package. Bathroom: Clean for the most part. Some minor damage to the pour spout on the bathtub. Also the shower head while having multiple settings was fixed in position. Access to local restaurants: your typically chain restaurants are within a few miles. Breakfast: same as just about every other hampton inn. Would I stay here again? Yes way more comfortable than a choice property I stay at near hear a few months before.

Very nice hotel. It is every clean and the rooms are nicely decorated. The hotel seem very quiet and will be staying here again. The morning breakfast is very nice.
