These are below average donuts, same as you’d get in any grocery store but for twice the price. And they sure don’t taste like the spudnuts my grandma used to make. Here they’re masking that wonderful potato flour taste with loads and loads of sugar and icing. It’s enough to upset your stomach. I gave it an extra star because it’s open Sunday mornings and serves my Café Ibis coffee at a good price point. Drive-thru is convenient as well. I will continue coming here for coffee, but not donuts. 2.5 stars

My daughter had a soccer game close by and she wanted a donut so this came up on the Unilocal app as being really close to her game so we stopped in. The location is in a good spot but getting out of there is kind of a pain. There is no traffic light so you have to be quick to jump into traffic at the right time. I don’t fault the business, just a warning if you stop in for a sweet snack. The inside was really nice and they had plenty of staff on hand. Prices are comparable to locations in Ogden, where I live so no surprises there. I did notice a fly in the display case which is kind of gross but bearable for me. Maybe that is their secret. The display case was not very easy to see all the options. They sit under the counter where the cash register is and they sit flat on the shelves. We tried a dozen donut holes, a couple of cake Donuts, and a glazed donut. All were really good. My kids and I shared and we liked them all. The glaze was not too sweet and the frosting was good on the Donuts we ate. The cake Donuts were really soft. My daughter also ordered some some cider and she liked it a lot. Donuts are good and getting out of the locations is bad but I definitely go back to try their apple fritters and other Donuts.

Amazing service really good donuts. The staff was very polite and professional. The food is 4.5÷5 and the service is a 5⁄5. I highly recommend this place.

Hands down the BEST donuts in Logan. I moved to Logan six years ago and had never really been blown away by the donut shops around here. I had been waiting for a graet donut place to pop up and eventually Johnny O’s did. Never gone to any other donut shop sense. They just do not compare. You’ll love their hearty size maple bars, the jelly filled donuts are amazing as well and you can never go wrong with their old fashion blueberry donut or their classic Spudnut.

The doughnuts are still inedible at Johnny O’s. Just because a sweet pastry is good does not automatically mean that a doubly sweet pastry will be even better. Picked up a selection of doughnuts for the kids I work with last week. Though I only tried one, I noticed that all seemed to be slathered with a layer of sugar frosting, in addition to whatever other frosting or toppings they had. The sugary sweetness was so overwhelming that I didn’t finish my doughnut. Admittedly, the kids were thrilled and loved them, but also probably wouldn’t have noticed if I’d just picked up a bag of Hostess Donettes from Wal-Mart. My next complaint is that Johnny O’s stuck it to me on iced coffee. My 12 ounce cup, which was 70% ice, set me back $ 3.25. Ouch. I really love supporting local businesses, but won’t be returning to Johnny O’s.

I have to physically grab my wrist to not pull in every time I drive by. The apple fritters first thing in the morning are what makes sunrises beautiful.

The doughnuts here are pretty good. They don’t really taste much different from normal doughnuts, but I thought they were a little dry/stale. I liked the maple glaze and the density of the doughnut, but I think I’d buy normal doughnuts next time.

I enjoyed the doughnuts but it’s average. It is a great addition for Logan Utah. The apple fritter was ok but dry. The glazed doughnuts were ok. Cake doughnut was way good. Usually I don’t like cake doughnuts but Johnny o did a great job.

I love doughnuts and feel this is one of the better places to get one; I tried the chocolate glazed spudnut. Pros: –liked the consistency –taste of the dough; definitely fresh with authentic ingredients. Cons: –only complaint was the very thick frosting that made it overwhelming. Combined with the hefty dough and big frosting, I couldn’t finish one.

When I was a kid back in Texas, every Saturday morning, the«Spudnut Kid» would come to our door selling a dozen Spudnuts in waxed bags for a dollar. My parents would wait to drink their morning coffee until he showed. Back then they only sold the glazed, and Johnny O’s is selling me a memory, just as good I remember!

My wife and I came here a few days after they opened, we had heard a lot of things about it and were excited to try a new place. First impression for both of us? No different from any donut you can buy at a local grocery store, except they are about 30 – 50 cents more per donut here with a very limited selection. We were hoping for a family-friendly place to bring our kids to, but it reeked of coffee and was dark and hipster feeling. It’s disappointing to me and others that there’s another place here open on Sunday, that caters more to out-of-towners than it does to the local population who are the ones who truly decide if a business will actually stay in business. Make this more family oriented and it would probably do much better.

I am a doughnut man, I have doughnuts for my birthdays instead of cake for crying out loud! I had the vanilla frosted doughnut, and it was the best doughnut I have ever had! It was a glazed doughnut with vanilla frosting on top, not dry, it was fresh as heck! I ate 3 of them, and I will go there every time I go to Logan

They are new in town so there are some glitches that they are still working out which is why they only get 4 stars. so here are my thoughts. PROS: 1. They have a drive-thru which is really nice for those early morning coffee/donut stops. 2. Their hours are very customer friendly. Open from 6 am to 8 pm. 3. The inside is very eclectic and upscale.(I like it a lot more than your regular coffee joints.) 4. They have free wifi, so you can go and sit awhile. 5. Local coffee and ice cream, and who doesn’t want to support local. 6. Good selection and flavors. I’m not really a donut person but I loved the chocolate cake one. It was very similar to the ones at Banbury Cross in SLC. 7. Reasonably priced. 8. They even have a fresh donut light on main street so that you know when they are hot. CONS: 1. They were having issues with the credit card machine so it was cash only yesterday. 2. The staff is still lacking some training, but they were friendly and helpful. 3. They need to polish up the details still, but it has the potential to be great! I will definately be back!
