I am beyond pleased with the end results! I had wood like tile, carpet and base boards installed and it all looks pristine. Alex and his team has been providing flooring for my family for more than 15 years and it is due to the quality of the product, amazing customer service and his price is always very reasonable. I had a flood in my home and hired a contractor. That contractor screwed me over so badly. I was so emotionally drained and a nervous wreck! Alex was really upfront and gave us a very reasonable quote. His guys installed our flooring and baseboards and pretty much did a flawless job. Our countertop guys even made somewhat of a mess for them, and Alex was nice enough not to charge us to clean up their mess (we were doing glue-​down, and there was a lot of dust that they had to clean off the concrete to prep it again).

This is our second time using Elite Carpet & Tile. There was wood installed by the previous home owner and we wanted to continue it throughout the hall so blending the new and old was a worry. The installers were meticulous with choosing the perfect pieces and the results were flawless! We chose tile for the bathroom and couldn’t be happier with the quality of work. Out of all the quotes, Alex’s couldn’t be beat. Great experience once again!

These people are amazing!!! We did the whole house, but a bit at a time, and Alex and crew were most cooperative. They arrived on time and were very neat about their work. They moved the heavier pieces of furniture and put them back exactly where I wanted. Their prices are reasonable and were in line with others and for two rooms were under others. However, the quality was far superior to other places. You won’t go wrong with Alex and his crew.

We are extremely happy with the flooring and baseboards we had installed in our home! We went to many places before making our final decision, and Alex had the best prices, and made us feel at ease with our choice in flooring. George and Daniel were really nice, timely, knowledgeable, and answerd any questions we had. They were even nice enough to show us different examples of patterns of tile, and grout color to help us see what we would like best. We liked them so much we just went back to have shutters installed as well! The floors looked better than we imagined they would and we can’t wait to see our shutters!

I cannot express how AMAZING Alex and his team did at our house! They showed up every day ready to put in a full day of hard work, and it paid off in every way. I felt incredibly confident with the recommendations from Rigo (the foreman of our job) with how to finish our floors. All the trims and finish came out perfectly, no need for baseboards with the excellent work they did. The tile met our tongue and groove walls perfectly without the need to be trimmed after (that is super impressive). They even installed our radiant floor heating (which is out of this world especially in a cold location like Big Bear Lake). Without hesitation I would highly recommend this business to anyone, they serve Big Bear Lake as a local area and I am confident they are better than any «local» contractor to the area.

I stopped in to buy a scrap of carpet for a project I am working on. The guy was more than willing to help. I told him what I needed and he showed me some pieces that would work. I picked one and he gave me a good deal. I have gone to two other stores and they wouldn’t give me the time of day.

We were looking to do tile in the whole house. We initially went to another vendor but when they were late and did not call to come by the house to give an estimate we decided to go with someone else. We found Elite from driving to lunch one day and saw it. So we went in and met Alex. We told him what were looking for and he helped us pick the tile. He took his time going over what was needed. We planned the work to happen a few weeks out. Anytime we had questions before the work was done Alex was always helpful.
Rigo, Tito, and Jose were the guys who did the work. They came at the time we were told. Very hard workers with great work ethic. They know the job and know it well. Rigo knows what looks best and what will work. We were extremely pleased with the job they did. We would highly recommend Elite Carpet and Tile for any work needing to be done. We are definitely telling our friends.

We had a fantastic carpet sales and installation experience here. The installation process was fast and professional, and the finished product looked better than expected. We are looking to replace our carpet with a laminate floor and I found Elite carpet and tile via Unilocal.So i went to the place and met Al who is very helpful and he always informed us bout the process of installing the laminate and the laminate wood floor choices that is the best and suits our needs and Owner Alex gave us a very great deal.

We got other quotes, we had decided on another store, but they gave us an estimate for more square footage then our house and were not helpful when we were making our decision on materials, so after seeing Elite carpets good reviews we decided to go there and check them out. They were so nice and helpful, and there price was lower then the other quote we had gotten. The salesman AL and the owner Alex, were great to work with, and there were no extra charges added on during the job.
They did our whole house, laminate, tile and carpet. The installers did a beautiful job and they moved our furniture and were helpful and so nice through the whole experience. The floors look great. I highly recommend them, I’m telling all my friends.

History: I researched Unilocal ratings for flooring companies in my area, and located a company in San B with no bad reviews who quoted the lowest price over the phone — by the owner of the store. The install would be vinyl in kitchen/​dining room area with new 4″ baseboard plus the installers would move the appliances — perfect! Go to that store to set up the install; however, a different person quote’s me adding a few hundred dollars! Of course, sticking to my guns, he lowers it to the amount the owner stated over the phone. I confirm same package deal and sales person states yes. Deal made and date scheduled for install.
Day before the install the same sales person comes to the house to get measurements and asses the area. This time he says we need to move all appliances out except the fridge — Fine! I mention the 4″ baseboard and he states it will only be the parts UNDER the cabinets?! REALLY? Frustrated as we had been remodeling for 3 weeks and we just wanted our kitchen back — my husband stated «OK». And lastly the sales guy says to give his installers an additional $ 75 cash — WHAT!!! FINE!!! I just wanted this stupid vinyl installed.
Next day — Installers show up and state, «Why is the fridge in the kitchen?», and inform me that I need to find a neighbor to move it out (husband at work). Spoke with the store and they stated this installer does not move appliances, and if I could find someone to move the fridge. THAT IS IT! I CANCELLED JOB!
I was panicked, mad, frustrated, and on the verge of crying. Called up Lowe’s, Home Depot, and other stores in San B to find all were over a 2 week waiting period for install. I finally look outside San B and found Elite! Hesitant because they are in Loma Linda meaning it would be more expensive; I just went for it as I needed someone fast! Spoke with the owner, Alex, and he was AWESOME to say the least. I explained what happened and first thing he attempted to do was correct the previous stores mishaps by contacting them so they could complete the job! I informed him that I have provided more than enough «attempts» so now he has my business and I would not be going back to the previous store no matter what was offered. He offered me the same deal with NICE 4″ boarding ALL around the kitchen/​dining area for just about the same price; in fact, Elite was cheaper in the long run!
Scheduled an asap install which would be two days away; however, he would find out if one of his regular clients (realtor investor) would switch my install time since no person were living at the investors property location. Investor agreed and Alex had our flooring installed the next day, and his guys did a GREAT JOB! Flooring installed perfectly! The installers were polite, respectful, and cleaned up their mess! Alex even called a few days later to make sure all was well — Excellent Service!!! Thank you Alex from the Baldivid’s

We had been wanting to replace our carpet and current tile for ceramic tile that looks like wood. After asking our friends and family members if they knew of anyone reliable and not going anywhere I decided to go on Unilocal and that is where I found Elite Carpet and Tile. And I am so glad we did because we are beyond satisfied with the tile we chose and the work they did. At first I thought wr were overpaying but ince the job was done we were pleased and thought it was worth every penny. The installers workrd tirelessly for four days straight, we were guaranteed by Alex that it would be done in a week so when they finished in four days we were extremely happy. I highly recommend Elite, thank you Alex and to the installers for a great job done.

Alex and his crew did a great job. We had them install a combination of laminate, ceramic tile and carpet throughout our first floor. Everything looks great! The price was competitive and well within our budget, his employees were professional and the installation was completed with 10 days.
We’re planning on carpeting the upstairs portion of the house next year and won’t hesitate to call Elite.

Pricing was competitive and the installers (Victor and Luis) were prompt, professional, and efficient. Why go to the big box stores when you can get better service and pricing from your direct carpet installers???
