History

Established in 2006.

My passion for wedding hair and makeup started when a friend of mine got married and I helped her with her hair and makeup. Seeing how much fun it was getting ready with all the girls the morning of the wedding, made me want to do this on a weekly basis. The trust a woman has with her look for her wedding day is one words can’t describe. And that moment when they see the final results of the hair and makeup for the first time, are the one ‘s I live for in every bride!

Hey Beautiful Brides! I am THE Kelly in Brides by Kelly. I began doing weddings in 2006 when a friend asked me to do her bridal party. I loved the fun and easy going environment of traveling to the brides desired location verses the fast past, conveyor belt feel of a salon. When I’m not doing weddings, my husband and I love to travel in the off season. I love all things fashion-​Pinterest is my drug! I have 3 fur babies-​my cats that I love and adore when I am home. And I love to just relax with friends, enjoy good food with a nice glass of wine! I look forward to working with you on your day!

When i was searching for people to help with hair and make up for my wedding I searched all over The Knot! I looked at review after review and came upon Brides by Kelly. Then I found out I had a friend that knew her and he raved about her work. I contacted her and it was nothing but professional. We did my trial for both hair and make up and the minute she walked in, it felt like we were old friends. She made me feel so comfortable and knew exactly what to suggest for my face shape and season for the wedding (I was a bride that had no clue what to do…) We had our whole bridal party for hair and make up and it was such a reasonable price. It felt like we were having a party getting ready for the wedding, it was a very stress-​free and relaxing time. BOOK WITH BRIDES BY KELLY!!! You certainly won’t regret it.
