There is a story behind every dish by Chef Oliver — a chance encounter

during a trip; a childhood memory; a family event; a Mexican tradition.

History

Established in 2009.

Mr Jose Oliver has been collecting recipes from different regions of Mexico. He has been a successful businessman in the Restaurant Industry for the last 25 years.

The New restaurant that he just opened: Fonda Isabel was named after his mother Isabel.

Contemporary and inviting, the restaurant has a bright color scheme complemented by cream-colored tablecloths and a sleek bar splitting the two dining rooms. You can come in wearing a suit o a T-shirt. It is about people enjoying themselves in the restaurant.

Regular customers qualify our food as phenomenal.

Our margaritas are known as the Best Margaritas in the West Suburbs. They are made with no sweet and sour mix, like everybody else, we are really proud that we make them with our homemade margarita mix, with fresh limes.

Now we have an extensive Lunch (24 different main courses) that shows dishes from all around Mexico. The regular menu shows Traditional Mexican Food and some excellent and brilliant ideas of Mr Jose.
