G & D Property Management Inc.

We love our location but unfortunately G&D does not live up to its property locations. We pay $ 200 a month, on time, every month, for no pool or other association benefits, yet can not get a return phone call from Dave the manager. We receive violations with another unit printed on the letter, and violations we did not do, but the envelope is addressed to us and they will not drop the violation. G&D seems to want to push out the families. We got a violation for having a sandbox. At one point, there was a roof leak that our inspector said could be mold. G&D refused to fix or test the space. And our kids sleep above that space, they did not care. We have listed to sell but with $ 200 HA dues and no benefits, no one will buy. Also zero communicate, they cancelled the repaving of driveways but then just paved on a random day worth no notice so our unit was missed. When we emailed and called about when it would be done, there was no response. G&D is one of the reasons we want out!

This company works with our homeowners association to provide maintenance and repair services.
The good news is that they actually seem to care about keeping up the properties. Our grass is kept mowed, our houses powerwashed and driveways sealcoated, snow is cleared in a timely fashion and so on and so forth.
The bad news is they can be slow to respond. Management has actually changed here since we moved in and I’m not sure if it’s for the better or not. We had a few minor things taken care of promptly (mailbox replaced, hole filled in) right after we moved in; since then things have moved slowly.
I never did get a reply about planting rules, and it took over a year for a roofer to come out and actually fully investigate a potential leak in our roof. (Granted: this past summer one of our neighbors’ roofs actually caught fire when it was struck by lightning — obviously that repair takes precedence.)
I guess the conclusion is that they do their job, but sometimes inconsistently or slowly. I appreciate the good stuff, but I’m a little wary overall.
